Bright, Fun Neon Colors!
These are a great addition to my colored pencil collection! The neon colors are bright, vibrant, and really stand out on the page. They’re fun to use for highlights, accents, and adding pops of color to coloring pages and artwork. The pencils lay down smoothly, sharpen well, and the color selection is excellent. For the price, they’re a fantastic value, and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking to add neon colors to their collection. 🌈✏️

Great value
Excellent pencils for a good price. I'm a beginner so I don't have a ton of experience with colored pencils but I own Prismacolor, Faber Castell Polychromos and Goldfaber, these, the red tin 180 kit, soulcolor and poscapencil colored pencils and these rank up high on my list of pencils. Some of the colors are super light and hard to make out but thats to be expected with neon colors. They feel great in the hand, they look great and they color great. They're on the softer side of pencils similar to the poscapencil but not quite as soft as prismacolor premier. They're almost too nice that I don't want to use them and sharpen them 😄

Kalour Neon pencils
Surprisingly, pretty good neon pencils. This is my first Kalour set, I have hundreds of pencils but was missing a good neon set. About half the colors are actually florescent, but that's to be expected. Cooler tones are difficult to brighten, but it's still a good set. The colors look similar in the pack, but with test swatches there are subtle differences. The yellows are bright, and they're perfect for highlights and glow effects. I think the Faber Castell Black neon's are better in general but this set has more variety. So far they blend well, rarely break, have sharpened well, and not too scratchy. So I would say overall they're good value for the price.

Not bad but not exactly “expert”
I am a professional artist and I bought this set for an art piece I am getting ready to make. I was so hoping that these would blend well and that the lead was soft like Prismacolor and my Arteza sets. These pencils are somewhat soft but much harder than the other sets. I am disappointed that they do not blend together well at all. As you can see in the picture with the blue circle. I used the azure blue first then tried to blend the violet. It seems to “move” the bottom layer around and it leaves it with a strange splotchy look. I then decided to go over it with a green which seems to have only colored where there was a lighter space. (Back to this in a moment) I was able to get some colors to blend, the bright orange and vermilion did blend however it still has a splotchy look. I then added the golden yellow to highlight the bright orange and although it’s not the exact look I wanted it did have a good effect. By now you’re probably wondering why I would have given these a four star rating. First it’s because as a stand alone pencil (meaning if you are using it to just fill in a spot you don’t need blended) they work well and the colors are very bright. And second I decided to try using my prismacolor pencils over these and have found that with some work you can use them together with a great result. Work meaning you have to put down the KALOUR neon first then add a layer of the prismacolor then go over that layer with the kalour pencil to blend the two together as the prismacolor sits on top of the kalour. You can see this in the larger yellow circle. If I can use them in this way they now get that four star rating as this allows for a wider variety of colors I can add to my prismacolor pencils. Now back to that blue circle, I tried going over the blue green purple mix with the prismacolor neon pink and it would not blend but instead sort of “scraped” the kalour colors off and left a neon pink over the top. It’s a strange effect but one that could be good in some instances if you needed a textured look. Over all they are ok pencils and they were well priced. Since prismacolor only had three neon colors and Arteza, that I know of, doesn’t have any. These can work if you need some neon colors to add into your art work. For some basic pencils to use in coloring books or for your kids they are really great neon colors!

Great brand, great buy
I really like these colored pencils. It’s the brand that I buy the most of and I’m never disappointed. The neon set is my third set and I really love the colors! Missing one and got two of the same color but it’s not worth returning. Will be buying more!!

They’re Just Ok
These pencils are hardly “artist quality.” The colors are nice and vibrant (though the variety is limited), but the cores are just too soft. They blend so-so: better blending without the using a blender pen, but need too many layers to do so effectively and it wears down the pencils. I’m surprised at how much of the pencils were used given how light I pressed. They need constant sharpening. These are a budget pencil and worth it if you get them at a budget price. If you’re looking for something to color with, these are better than Crayola brand, but not as good as Cra Z Art.

Great set of the neons
On my opinion, this set is a must-have set for any colorist! My pros: 1. It is so easy to draw a spot of reflected sunlight, shine of a magical creature/spell or billboard lights with these pencils. But the most impressive work they perform when you are coloring auroral lights. 2. Some of the customers complained that the pencils are sturdy and could not to be put easily. It is a kind of truth but… but the reason is that the Kalour Neons are more the Polychromas type of pencils than the Prismas. So that gives you an opportunity to put as many layers as you want and control the opacity of your shades. 3. I like that there is only a slight difference between shades of the same color. In that case you don’t need to order a new set right away if you run out of a certain shade. 4. These pencils are great to work in combination with the regular basic color, metallic and the pasteltint sets. Cons: I have only one issue with these pencils: I don’t like how they perform on the smooth and glossy paper but with the regular white or toothy paper they work adorable. Highly recommend!

I really like how the colors are popping. A must have in any artist’s kit. I leave the images to speak for themselves.
