This is absolutely worth the money. The sensor that tells you if the water is still dirty coming up from the ground is an amazing feature, it’s the same with the drying feature. I was able to lift 85% of pet stains that had been cleaned with another carpet cleaner but stains had been left behind. The self propelled feature literally changed carpet cleaning from a chore to a pleasant process (obviously it’s loud but ear buds make that a non issue). I don’t find it to be heavy or awkward, the water tank is a little funny to fill and empty but nothing really to complain about. The assembly was straight forward and it’s very simple to get started to use. The self cleaning feature easily makes this 100% worth it— no lasting odors in the brushes or tubes. And it dries itself so you don’t have that wet smell! I did read some horror stories on here about the self cleaning feature but I’ve had zero issues. TLDR: if you have carpets, THIS is the only carpet cleaner you need.

We have a 20-year-old shag carpet and a household full of activity—five pets, two kids, two adults, and a rural property with plenty of dirt, trees, and gravel. Our carpet has absolutely seen better days, especially in high-traffic areas. When our old carpet cleaner finally broke beyond repair and the Carpet One went on a Black Friday sale, we grabbed it. Assembly was quick, though I did fiddle with pieces enough to cause a minor issue with the brush head not seating fully. Thankfully, even without reading the manual, I was able to fix it quickly—always a win. One of my favorite features is the display that shows when the water being pulled from the carpet is still dirty. Between knee problems and no one else vacuuming lately, the floors were overdue for attention, so I spent extra time on each spot. Once the water looked clean, I used the drying feature. While the carpet padding and deeper weave remained damp, the surface felt dry enough that my sensory issues didn’t flare when walking across it. Overnight drying finished the job. The results? Stunning. After vacuuming the next morning, the cleaned area looked dramatically better. The Carpet One separated and lifted the carpet fibers so they looked almost new again. I even took a photo—there’s a clear “No Vac” area where the fibers were still clumped together, something that persists even after a good vacuuming. The cleaned-and-vacuumed section looked fantastic. There are a few quirks. Filling the clean-water/solution tank is a bit awkward because trapped air bubbles get in the way, so I often had to stop the water, adjust the tank, and continue. Dumping the dirty water tank is easy if the clean water tank is empty—you can swing and pour one-handed. But if the clean tank is full, it’s too bottom-heavy to manage comfortably. A second handle would make a big difference. The carpet solution itself has a very faint smell that disappears completely during use, which I appreciate because it helps me sniff out the “funky” spots in the carpet and focus on them. The drying feature helps reveal those spots too. The machine is surprisingly easy on my chronic pain. Our old cleaner required too much pushing, pulling, and lifting. The Carpet One has a motor assist that activates with minimal pressure, moving the machine forward and backward at a selectable speed—such a relief. The water tank is easy to reach and remove, and once you get the hang of lining it up, reinstalling it is simple. The self-cleaning feature also works beautifully—very similar to our Tineco wet/dry vac for hard floors. Overall, I’m thrilled with this purchase so far. It brought life back to a very tired carpet and made deep cleaning manageable again.

This cleaner is NOT what I was hoping for when I bought it. I already own the Bissell Big Green for upstairs. The tineco was for the living room. With 2 small dogs who use pee pads it's imperative that I have a sturdy and easy cleaner. Tineco failed in all areas. I tried selling it but can't. It's a very small tank. I clean for about 10 minutes and I have to empty and refill. It only cleans areas that the machine detects dirt or a mess. You can turn that off but it still only cleans where it deems it's needed. It may be great for rugs and spots only but not for real work. It's cute but cute does not clean my carpet.

Good carpet cleaner makes the carpet very soft when done right which is slowly at a bunch of different angles. Nit a perfect 5 stars due to the dirty tank getting filled very quickly and needing emptying constantly especially when you use a carpet cleaner almost 90 percent of the filled area will just be bubbles which takes awhile to throughly clean the soap and bubbles out just for it to suck for a few more secounds before needing emptied again also pouring carpet cleaner into the main tank is very hard to get the soap out so you have to do several cleaning cycles to empty the whole system. I also don't recommend leaving any amount of water inside the main tank not the dirty water tank the main tank due to sitting on the cleaning base after awhile the water will slowly leak out and fill the base up.

The suction power is strong, and I was impressed by how much dirt and dirty water it pulled out even from carpets that looked clean. It takes a lot of the guesswork out of cleaning and makes the process much more efficient. The machine is also easier to maneuver than many traditional carpet cleaners. I also appreciate the quick-dry feature — the carpets were noticeably drier compared to other carpet cleaners I’ve used in the past. The clean and dirty water tanks are simple to remove and refill, and the self-cleaning function is a huge convenience after finishing the job. I have tried MANY, MANY carpet cleaners and NONE have worked, until this one! I have pets and boys and with that comes a lot of mess! I did extensive research and I first purchased a Bissell carpet steamer/cleaner and cleaned my upstairs carpet. The Bissell left my carpet EXTREMELY wet. I had to put towels down everywhere, and once dried the carpet did not look good at all, and there appeared to be a film on the carpet. I then purchased the Tineco Carpet Cruiser and went back over the carpet. First of all, let me say, it picked up SO much dirt that was left behind by the Bissell. The water was black, and it had just been cleaned with the Bissell 2 days prior! I was extremely surprised by how little water was used and my carpet was not soaked. I went back over it with the drying feature and all of the carpet was completely dry. I also want to mention, when I used the Bissell, it took forever and I felt like I was fighting and struggling with machine, but the Tineco Carpet Cruiser took minutes per room and was so easy with the AI Assist. I had it set to medium and I was amazed by how easy the machine moved across the carpet. My carpet has never looked better! Also, with pet accidents. It is so easy to just pull the Tineco out and go right over them and the Self Cleaning feature is probably one of my favorite features. Once it is complete, the cleaning tray is completely dry! This is by far one of the best purchases! I absolutely love this machine!!!

VERY SAD THAT THIS DIDN'T WORK. I SPENT A LOT (OVER 500$) BECAUSE I NEEDED A RUG CLEANER REGULARLY (PETS). I ORDERED IT IN APRIL. IT'S JUNE NOW. I USED IT ONCE. I SWITCHED TO USE THE UPHOLSTERY ATTACHMENT AND BOOM IT BEGAN TELLING ME TO "EMPTY THE DIRTY WATER TANK". WHICH I DID. OVER AND OVER AND OVER ETC. I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED SUPPORT BECAUSE I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PROJECT. THEY SAID THE PROBLEM IS "USUALLY A FAULTY WATER TANK". SO, YOU GUESTED IT. IT'S A FAULTY PRODUCT. AT FIRST THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND ME A NEW TANK. OK. REASONABLE. THEN THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY MORE TANKS (YES, CONFIRMATION THAT THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED ISSUE). THEY WANTED ME TO SEND IT IN FOR REPAIR. IRRITATING AND SUSPICIOUS. SO I EMAILED BACK TO ASK IF PACKAGING AND SHIPPING WOULD BE PROVIDED. 2 WEEKS AGO - HAVEN'T HEARD FROM THEM SINCE DESPITE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO GET THE QUESTION ANSWERED. I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS FOR 6 WEEKS. I AM GOING TO CONTACT MY CREDIT CARD AND SEE IF I CAN REVERSE THE CHARGES. DON'T GO THERE!!!!! UPDATE: I FINALLY HEARD BACK. THE WATER TANKS ARE BACK IN STOCK!!! THEY EXPECTED TO SEND ONE OUT DAYS AGO WITH A CONFIRMATIONAL EMAIL. AT BEST THIS COMPANY IS SLOTH-LIKE. I AM CONCERNED I WILL GET ANOTHER DEFECTIVE DIRTY WATER TANK. IF ALLOWED I WILL WRITE AN UPDATE. IF WE AREN’T ALL DEAD BY THEN.

Have used this for a year and am very satisfied. First, it does and excellent job cleaning; second, it manoeuvres easily; third, installing cleaning solution vessel works wells; fourth, flash dry really does accelerate carpet drying; and fifith, the automatic cleaning program does a great job.

Six months of usage then internal parts falling apart, all damaged which translates into clean water mixing with dirty water, thus not working any longer, the rubber components inside the reservoir are of poor quality. However same following day I claim for warranty, tineco promptly answered me back and will send a new tank for free. Great job on warranty service.

What garbage. Trying to connect to wi-fi with no success. Probably installed malware on my network system. It leaks so much damn water out cause of so many damn connection points. Exhaust is on the bottom and releases the same crap from the carpet I'm trying to remove all over the just cleaned carpet. It has the air dust collector that might seem like an awesome idea but it's probably a petri dish to add more bacteria straight into the carpet mixed with moist carpet and with the "flashdry", germs, mold and bacteria love warmth. Seems like it's coddling an egg before hatching. What the f... is that white stuff built up on the rubber inside the dirty water tank? WTF!!! Clean and scrub it all you want it just gets stuck in material. Your efforts are futile. All that crap gets blown when it dries then gets blasted out soon as the device is turned on. Clean water breather is shared with the dirty water tank, is my clean water now contaminated??? Suction is so powerful, water dropped gets passed right and get blown out the side ports spreading germs and bacteria all over just cleaned carpet. FFS. $900 what a scam. I got my Bissell for $180 and does a better job.

The machine itself is well designed and works well. it is adjustable for different carpet settings and even more customizable through the app. The heated dry function works shockingly well. After a few passes it had nearly dried the carpet and after a further hour ion natural drying, it was pretty much dried. The handheld attachment works great on upholstery and hard to reach corners. I found that dissembling and cleaning it was very easy as well. Very happy with this purchase. it's a little on the pricey side but for sure worth it.

Used this machine on a bedroom carpet. Was very surprised on how easy it was to push. It basically goes with you. No heavy pushing or pulling. The drying heated part is awesome, I truly was walking on dry carpet an hour later. I can't beleive the dirt it pulled out. I actually vacummed first and still got stuff. Would highly recommend this machine. I had to fill tank once after the first initial fill. I would recommend putting the cleaning solution in after the clean water is added. It's really bubbly :) I like that the cleaning solution isn't really perfumey.
