1" Cardboard (Convolute) Replacement Spring Roller for Standard Roller Window Shades. (46 1/4)

This product arrived on time & works well. It was easy to install.

Apologies for not reading carefully enough to realized mounting brackets are not a standard inclusion with product order. I have been directed to the proper part, thank you. I assumed that the product order was just shipped incomplete; not the case. and I am corrected.

This was a lifesaver as getting a new shade would require different hanging hardware and look different from the sister window and shade. Important when measuring to cut, dont just measure the cardboard part of the old shade! We messed up but were able to make it work by pulling out the end cap part way.

Was easy to replace a 60 yr. old roller shade in my home. Used existing cloth shade and transferred to new cardboard roller.

Product arrived almost one week earlier than estimated. It was packed properly in a shipping tube with receipt and installation instructions enclosed. Very easy to install. Works well. Time will tell how it holds up.

The concept of the product matched the product description to a tee! It is advertised at 46.25" long and, by golly, (when straight) it is indeed 46.25" long - when holding it straight out away from you. It is also advertised as 46.25" wide. When you hold it horizontally in front of you, it really is 46.25" wide. It is a 1" tube made of cardboard - just as the product information states. The seller notes that it is a "spring roller" and there is definitely an internal spring attached to the flat pin on one end. The only challenge we've had is the horrible packaging. The cardboard tube we bought came in... a cardboard tube. We ordered one that was damaged so bad in transit, it was unusable (the roller tube and shipping tube were both bent, and wrapped in packaging tape where the shipping tube was bent). So... we ordered a second roller and had the exact same issue. We have now ordered and are awaiting roller number three. There's never been any notation that the product inside is fragile or can't be bent. It's four feet long, so if nobody notes it needs to be handled with care, it won't be. Furthermore, each time it's taken a couple of weeks to arrive, which seems like a lot for a simple roller tube.

The old blind would not keep in place where I set it. This replacement worked fine. I'd not shorten the length because the extra length makes for extra winds on the roll and will give the replacement blind a heavier and sturdier feel.
