A great product - ignore the sceptics
Never normally write reviews but - given the marmite nature of this product- I thought I’d make an exception. In short. It works as advertised and delivers a far better edge than most DIY painters could ever hope to achieve. I bit of practice is advisable but I found it very easy to use and was extra careful not to put paint on the wheels. Following some advice from You Tube I also decided to apply paint to the pad with a brush, rather than dipping it. This seems a more sensible way of doing it and one I would recommend. So - ignore the naysayers and get one ordered. Seems sturdy enough to last a long time an an absolute must for those tricky edges.

What a waste of money only worthy of the bin
What a waste of money !! My partner is a painter and decorator , the instructions are quite vague , it is NOT a precise tool , if you are working into corners that are slightly uneven the cutting lines are extremely inaccurate, if you need to get the correct amount of paint onto the tool to create the create the correct amount of distribution then the rollers tend to pick up paint and realistically create a mess around the cutting in lines - safe to say within an hour it was in the bin

Fit for purpose, challenging learning curve .
This tool deserve a long review : It is fit for purpose as long as you are not pushing it too hard . I will do a better job than a non-professional painter by a mile but there is a learning curve . -Load the pad with a brush , do not dip in a paint tray as per advised on the instructions. -Do not hold the black handle , use both hand and punch the pad up toward the ceiling with your thumbs , do not push the pad towards the wall as the pad bristles will collapse and the paint will go all over the ceiling -roll very slow . The bristles on the pad are very close to each other , there is a tendency of pad turning into a suction cup if you go too fast. Yiu will feel it as rolling become harder -Two coats are needed -Watch the wheels like a hawk as they have a tendency to get dirty . -Expect to clean the whole tool couple of time Per room as paint will inevitably overflow . If your corner are really messed up , the tool will struggle

Landing and stairs painting with a pole - this is a no no
This is not as advertised. When using it by hand it is really good as you can control pressure to wall and as long as loading pad with paint brush accurately. Clipping wheels back and dipping was too messy which meant it was quite tedious to deassemble and clean frequently to make sure nothing will squish out onto the wheels when removing excess paint. This was bought to do cutting in on wall at ceiling edge with extender pole as it is too high to reach and cannot get everywhere with ladder and paintbrush due to stairs. Useless on a pole as this pro is advertised for. It's too loose and it's nearly impossible to control without preasure which squishes the paint out onto the wheels which ruins neat line it is capable of doing when hand held. Good to speed up cutting in by hand, but not worth the price, and don't think about being able to use it with extender pole.

Great painting tool
Brilliant for cutting in, not fool proof and takes some patience but cuts out time and effort taping up. Use a brush to paint the pad to get an even finish, my husband swears by it.

Not great.
Not a great product. If your home has perfect wall to ceiling corners this would work better. Any slight bump won't have a smooth finish. Not ideal as a hand tool as the black part at the back swivels. Overall overpriced for what it is and it's function.

Absolute life-saver
I got myself into a bit of a pickle using masking tape to get some straight lines between contrasting colours. I ended up pulling off most of the paint when I took the masking tape off. So had to effectively repaint the room, but figure out another way of getting a straight line. I have to say I was a little apprehensive, given that I’ve tried these tools before, but this thing was just magic. A few words of warning. - It isn’t perfect, you’ll probably need to touch up bits, but it’s quick and pretty accurate - The paint pad has a right way and a wrong way to attach to the device, if you it wrong, it’ll slide off the device - Don’t overload the pad - Just be careful about the wheels and avoid getting paint on them - I did load the paint by floating on some paint, but have seen people apply it using a brush. Overall well pleased with the outcome.

Utter Rubbish do not BUY!!!
I brought this to edge a high ceiling and it does not work! Firstly no matter how hard you try you always end up with paint on the opposite wall, even if you keep the wheels clean. Secondly, the wheels keep the pad away from the wall edge so much that when it's not busy depositing it on the opposite wall it leaves a considerable gap so you can see the old wall colour still. Lastly and most importantly the item is so fragile that the hinge snapped off after just 20mins use and caused the paint head to bounce down my stairs, eventually, it hit the carpet 2 flights down and wrecked my carpet! This is just rubbish DO NOT BUY AT ALL!

Didn't really think it would work. I was wrong.
I bought this thinking it probably would work but not all that well. I figured I'd end up having to call a pro to make the job look decent. But it worked very well. Very, very well. I'm a believer. I used it to paint the high edges of a formal three-story staircase, complete with lots of curved plaster, in our 150-year-old house. It got the edges perfectly, better than the previous job which was done by a contractor. And I got it done in less than two hours. Like others, I brushed the paint onto the pads, and had to fiddle with it a bit to get the feel of the thing, but it did a good job everyplace but one corner, which obviously was never square in the first place. Clean up was easy, and I found that the pad really held a lot of paint -- more than you'd think by looking at it. FWIW, I almost never write product reviews, unless the item is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. This was exceptionally good. Worth every penny.

Expensive...
As an American, I feel like a fool for purchasing this. The retail price for this in the states is $5.95, I paid €20 this. That's a 400% markup... For plastic with a foam square on it... Oh well, let's see if it actually gives me a clean line... Painted two rooms with it and have learned that if you have perfect walls with hard clean edges and corners, this will working great. Paint paint onto the product (don’t dip the product in paint) and roll away. Problem is, many corners and edges to homes are not straight, and this tools does help change that. My suggestion is to spend your time using painters tape, tape the edges, press firm on the tape and then brush paint away from the tape, not towards it to avoid slippage under the tape. After 20-30 minutes, slowly pull the tape off- you’ll have the hard line you’re looking for.

Maakt strepen
Voor gladde wanden is dit geen optie . De pads zijn van een hard soort vacht. Niet net zoals een vachtroller meer zoals klittenband. En maken lelijke strepen op de muur .
