Perfect Tool To Maintain Hair Health
I must start off by saying that I was very skeptical about the effectiveness of this product. I read the reviews on all products before buying them to help me decide if itโs worth trying. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive about this hair dryer so despite the high price I decided that for the sake of maintaining the health of my hair it would be a good investment, so I bought it. Well, when I opened the box and saw the unit, my first impression was, this is a joke because this looks like a vacuum cleaner so they must have sent me the wrong product. I was ready to send it back, but I read the instructions and how to assemble it and the settings for my hair type. Well my anxiety rose even higher when I realized that I am supposed to insert my hair into the hose and I was worried that it would get tangled into whatever mechanism was inside it and it would rip my hair out ๐๐๐๐. (Yes I have major paranoia with strange looking hair contraptions). Anyway I sent up a small prayer to God and trust that it was going to be fine. PROS: 1. I felt NO HEAT on my scalp or hair 2. It took 40 seconds to dry each section of hair. Total 8 sections so it took less than 6 minutes to dry my whole head. 3. I did not need to apply any heat protector or oils to my hair before drying it (per the instructions) 4. My hair was dry, straight, shiny and felt SOOOOOO smooth & soft when it was released from the suction. 5. I donโt need to use anymore heating tools when I am finished drying. If I want to add a little curl/wave to my hair I can add a few curlers otherwise I love it straight ๐ฅฐ CONS: 1. Too bulky to travel with. 2. Does not have a carrying case 3. Have to keep the original box to store it after use. 4. Super loud If it werenโt for the lack of a carrying case and the units bulky size which would make it difficult for traveling I would give this product a 5 โญ๏ธ โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ, so if you are hesitant about buying this product, donโt be because itโs worth the money. What are you waiting for? I opted to use AFFIRM to pay for mine and my monthly installments is $27 or if you have an Amazon Card you can pay in installments with $0 interest. UPDATE: I had purchased this unit over 3 1/2 years and it stopped working about 2 weeks ago. I noticed a couple of times when I was using the unit that the power switch would not shut off the power. I had to unplug the unit to power it off. The next time I attempted to turn it on, it did not come on at all. I contacted RevAir customer service to see if they offered service for units outside of the warranty. Apparently there have been other issues with the power switches, so after the sent me an email with a link to upload pictures of my unit and a video show the unit plugged in and my attempts switch the unit on, it was determined that my unit was experiencing the same issue. RevAir agreed to replace the base unit at no charge to me even though the warranty had expired. This was assessed and completed within a week. Now I am back to maintaining a healthy hair maintenance routine. Now that is what I consider to be the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I love my RevAir and I will always recommend this product. My hair has never been this healthy. I updated my review to change this from a 4 star to a 5 star rating because: 1. They finally came up with a carry bag for the unit so I could finally get rid of the bulky box and I can take it with me on my road trips. Now they need to make it in a smaller model so I can pack it in my suitcase to travel overseas. 2. They provide excellent customer service ๐ฅฐ

Gets frizzy curly hair straight and shiny in 15 min
I have 2c, medium corse, super dense, super frizz prone hair, and this thing is a massive game changer for me. Why I love it: - Time. It takes me just 15 minutes to go from wet hair to straight, sleek hair. I section my hair into 11 sections and Rev each one for 40 sections each, for a total of 7 and a half minutes of drying. The rest of the time is spent section my hair. I think if I get faster as sectioning it, it would take even less time. I set it to high heat and a speed of 4, reducing it to 2 for the layered sections around my face. -Natural looking. It doesn't make my hair look like blow-dried or straightened curly hair, it makes my hair look naturally straight. I prefer this to the "done" look of a blowout. I've gotten tons of compliments on my hair since I started using this. Even clueless guy friends are like, "Wait, something's different with your hair? It looks awesome." - Effort/ease. I can dry my hair in the same amount of time with the Revlon One-Step, but it's more work and takes more technique to get it right. With the RevAir, you just section your hair and stick it in the wand and hold the want to your head. - Cool. The RevAir is much cooler to use. I don't get sweaty drying my hair with the it in the summer like I do with a traditionally blow dryer or the Revlon One-Step. - Less product. I use so much less product with RevAir. All I need is a little leave in conditioning spray (I use No Nothing Moisturizing Mist and it doesn't gunk up the RevAir), as opposed to serums and hold products with a blow out or gobs of gel when I wear it curly. Downsides: - Cost. The RevAir costs 10 times as much as a Revlon One-Step. The results and experience of using it are much better, but it's hard to say if it's TEN TIMES better. - Size. This thing is basically a small canister vacuum. The body of it is about the size of a toaster, and the wand and hose are big and bulky. It takes up a lot of counter real estate and you can't travel with it unless you're going on a road trip in a big vehicle. So far I've had this for about a month and I find myself reaching for it every time I've washed my hair since I bought it. It's made me totally abandon the Curly Girl method!

Worth the investment
This machine is a beast for multi racial hair because it literally vacuums the curls straight. It dries and stretches everything in one step without you having to fight a round brush or a blow dryer for hours. Since it uses suction and lower heat, itโs way faster and doesn't fry the girls hair like a flat iron would. It's expensive but if you're doing five heads of hair, the time you save is worth every penny.

It's an appliance but worth the investment
I bought this because I have natural 4b hair that takes a long time to dry so trying to stretch it can cause damage with a regular blow dryer. My hair could stand another 2 inches to get the most out of the RevAir but here is what I can tell you: PROS 1. It works as described. Straighten or stretch, it works and with less heat. 2. There are helpful instructions that really came in use for hair of different weight and textures so you choose the appropriate settings for the desired outcomes. 3. Yes, it saves time. 4. Reduced breakage CONS 1. It is pricey, but I can see this being the primary drying appliance and may also reduce the need flat ironing for us natural hair ladies. It's an investment appliance. 2. It's heavy and it takes up space. 3. While it works on short naturals, you'll get better results if your hair has some extra length.

My arm is tired.
Iโm giving it 1 star because this thing is very very big and bulky. Itโs a heavy object to have holding over your head for 20 minutes. It does dry the roots which is a good thing but the hair isnโt as smooth or straight as advertised. It also takes about the same time to dry. Even though there were 3 heat and power options, your going to use the highest for both which really just puts it in the average range for both heat and power. I would have liked to be at a level 5 with some room to increase the intensity but at itโs max itโs just as strong as a regular blow dryer. If I kept this thing Iโd have to find a huge box or bag to store it in. It has a long hose so storing it under my bathroom sink wonโt work nor can I put it in a draw. This is a $100 product with all its shortcomings. Great idea but needs so much work to make it useful for most people to use and enjoy. I guess it would work better if someone else was using it on you. But then the storage problem. Overallโฆ Iโm returning it.

Changed my life!
This product has made blow drying my hair an absolute breeze! It doesn't take long at all and it's pain, tension, and heat damage freee! I debated for a while on if I wanted to spend so much money on a blow dryer. Now, it feels like I made an investment as I no longer have as many split ends and my hair is overall healthier. Good Device ... Just OK Customer Service
I purchased the previous version of this in April of 2023 so I am over 2 years in. This thing is amazing. My daughter has waist length hair, I have below bra strap length hair. While I dont use it on my own, I use it on my daughter reguarly and its wonderful. Easy to use, straightens beautifully and makes drying a quick breeze and doesnt burn my scalp as long as it isnt held in one spot too long. However, it is HEAVY and bulky. Still, it is a great item to have. I have given this 3 stars because their customer service isnt great. Just last week, as I was prepping for a wedding, I found that my Revair decided it did not want to heat up anymore. I contacted customer service. We went through trouble shooting steps, I took all the pictures and video they asked for ... only for them to tell me ... after all that ... That I was out of my 1 year warranty and would have to purchase a $65 Wand or take a discount to buy a new revair at around $300 plus tax. Now theyre going to mail me a 'custom invoice' for the discounted item that is good for one year. Am I going to buy a new one? Yes. I hear the newer version is lighter than the older version. Do I want to pay $300? No. Is paying $300 better than paying $500? Absolutely. Am I still in a bad mood? I will be for a very long time. They should offer a better warranty option.

Such a time-saver!
It's definitely a huge investment but it's worth it. There's a learning curve at the beginning to figure out how to obtain the best results for your hair type but once that's done, it's such a breeze! I have thick long curly hair (4a) and I'm still able to blow dry my hair well in about 15 to 20 minutes. Keeping my hair blow dried has helped me a lot with length retention as my hair doesn't tangle as much and this machine doesn't use as much heat as a regular blow dryer would be. Still make sure to use a heat protectant and do regular deep conditioning treatments to keep the hair healthy but overall I'm satisfied with this purchase.

Perfect for my High density 4C hair
Revair is the best for 4C hair, if you have minimal skills on blow drying, after doing lots of research I figured what works. Moisturize your hair , dont over moisturize but ensure its moisturized. I use Camile Rose leave in conditioner. Use heat protector if you are going to use Setting II and Tension above 3 I use Briogeo Farewell Frizz Blow dry perfection and heat protectant(this is what works best for me) I use setting II and Tension 6 and my hair is well stretched with no damage or frizz. Move the dryer in circles to ensure it gets to the root. It can get difficult to move your hand towards the back of your hair, because its bulky a bit. However out of all dryers i have attempted Revair does it for me in very few minutes. Happy customer:) Update, ensure your hair is well combed as well, your hair must be brushed to avoid tangles. This still remains the best dryer for 4c no regrets.

Donโt think twice, buy it.
Worth every single penny for my 4b hair! Fast, smooth dying. The products it comes with are also great.

You need this
I should have listened to myself months ago and just gotten it! I am currently on a hair growth and length retention journey and this rev air just made my journey much easier. Once your hair is properly stretched, you have less shedding, easy to comb and easy to maintain, easy to style ! I stretched my hair in these photos so I can do a protective style that I will wear for over a week. It took me about half an hour to 45 minutes to do my full head. I used the highest heat because I wanted to do a length check as well. The bad reviews: you need to understand that the rev air, once your hair is stretched, It will show the condition of your hair. If your hair is not healthy and in good condition, and you have split ends and breakage, it will show that! and you will think that itโs the REVAIR, but it is your hair (that you have not been taking care of) We all have different hair textures, and we must understand that this is also heat โฆ and hair health comes from daily length retention by tucking in your ends, moisturizing, avoiding high tension, styles, doing low tension protective styles etc. I have four 4a hair. hopefully this helps someone making the decision to ditch blow dryers and switch to REVAIR (btw rev air is not a blow dryer, hence the bad reviews you need to take care of your hair for it to look good stretched.)

Great purchase
The RevAir is definitely worth the investment. It was gentle on my hair and left it feeling healthy, soft and super manageable.
