French Avenue Essence De Blanc EDP 100ml

I've been wearing this regularly for a few months now and it's genuinely become one of my go-to fragrances. For the price, I really wasn't expecting much — but this one caught me off guard in the best way. The opening is fresh and bright, citrusy but not sharp or overwhelming. It feels clean and smooth right from the first spray, with a slightly refined quality that doesn't smell cheap at all. As it settles, you start to get hints of neroli and a soft warmth — a touch of cinnamon and ginger — that gives it a classy, slightly sophisticated character without ever going heavy or overpowering. The drydown is honestly my favorite part. That black tea and ambroxan combo that comes through is clean, modern, and just a little bit musky. It's not loud, it's not trying too hard — it just smells really well put-together. The kind of fragrance that makes people notice without them being able to quite put their finger on why. Longevity sits around 5 hours on my skin, which is reasonable for an eau de parfum at this price point. I've gotten more compliments wearing this than with some much pricier fragrances I own, which says a lot. If you're on the fence, just get it. For what you're paying, it punches well above its weight.

Man...this stuff absolutely slaps. I have to preface my review first with that I am a sucker for any fragrance with a well done tea note and this absolutely checks that box. I know EDB often gets grouped in or compated to LV Imagination but that's really only because of the black tea note. They are two very different scents in my opinion. Imagination gives you that luxury soap fresh vibe with a black tea note whereas EDB gives you a more citrus white floral note with the same black tea note. It's sweet without being sweet if that makes any sense lol. The floral note is prominent in the opening with the black tea bringing up the rear but the dry down is where it is at though. The white floral/citrus and black tea note sort of blend into one smooth clean scent. Man it is such a banger. Word of warning though like most if not all middle eastern scents this one needs a little shelf time to mature but it absolutely gets better with time. For the price this will always have a constant spot in my collection.

8.5/10 Clean & Earthy Disclaimer: Not everyone is going to like this right off the rip. With the dry down and a few test runs you’ll enjoy the appeal. Known for being a similar fragrance to LV Imagination. This is Black tea forward on the initial spray and can be hard for most to enjoy without knowing the scent beforehand. You can also sense something else in the mix, which you’ll find out to be the Citron, Orange, and Ginger. These are a little harder to pick up on the nose. On to the best part of this fragrance, the dry down is So Clean. Soapy and earthy scent. This is just really nice when you need something to put on. I do recommend this for anyone’s collection as it is arguably ONE OF THE MOST VERSATILE fragrances you’ll find. There is no denying a clean scent can go anywhere. Of course there is a downside. This lasts close to 3hrs on me. It’s not very strong on dry down either. The projection is not there. For this reason, my rating should be lower but the scent does make up for all the low spots.

To the point: 1. My initial impression after unboxing the smell was horrible. Forget old dirty grandma it was old dirty Bas.. 2. Of all the inspos or dupes that I have tried of similar DNA- this is the best one. It smells amazing and I get compliments on the daily. 3. On skin I get 5 to 6 hours and on clothes approximately 12. 4. Many people complain about these Middle Eastern Houses but they are taking over the French Houses. 5. Let the fragrance age like fine wine it only gets better and they become beast mode. 6. For the price you cannot complain the costs over come some of the lack of quality.

I am part of a cologne podcast. We have reviewed hundreds of colognes and their performance. Dupes/clones tend to be hit or miss. Only TWO have actually met expectations and surpassed the original. One is by Armaf that is a 8/10 that is a Aventus clone. And this one. It's a 8.5/10 for Imagination. The 1.5 lacking is the opening. But once the dry down takes effect, AMAZING! Performance, longevity, projection are all on point. Even the dang box that it comes in has a wow factor. If you have an extra 350 bucks and you are a slave to name brands, go ahead and get LV Imagination. Dupe of LV Imagination but with a strong tea note, so if you are into tea based scents you will like this one. Opening is soapy and clean and with a strong tea note. Dry down is your standard LV Imagination, decent longevity and value for money. Office safe. Aqua Dubai is just a better dupe in my opinion, but more expensive. Bottle design is fantastic and feels premium.
