Excellent Quality Buckwheat Groats
These buckwheat groats are fresh, clean, and excellent quality. They cook up perfectly and have a wonderful nutty flavor that works well in breakfast bowls, grain dishes, soups, and meal prep. I appreciate that they are gluten-free, non-GMO, and made with simple, wholesome ingredients. The texture is great, and the bag provides excellent value. Great hulled product
Great quality organic product at a good value in price. This is hulled product so if you’re used to purchasing buckwheat that is darker and nuttier tasting this may seem quite light in flavor and stickier. Nothing much to note other than that, but I have purchased other brands and this will likely be the one I continue with.

These will sprout when done correctly
I got these buckwheat groats for sprouting and dehydrating. Yes, they sprouted, but not 100%, more like 90. There were also visible amounts of broken pieces, and a lot of dust left in the bag when emptied. I would give 4.5 stars if I could. Worth the price, but all buckwheat groats are expensive ); I have sprouting success with this and other buckwheat groat brands by soaking only 40 min then draining and using a jar with a sprouting lid, rinsing twice a day, and they are ready in less than 2 days. If i start in the morning they are headed to the dehydrator the following afternoon (5 hr @ 105°F). Another brand I prefer is only available in 1 lb bags making it more expensive (but gets closer to 98% sprouting success).
