PX706HD short throw The picture quality is VERY good and latency is great for gaming, which was the main reason for purchase. Very easy to use with minimal setup. ----- Remote control is not backlit which really doesn't help in the dark. Focus wheel feels VERY stiff, so much so it makes the picture move up and down when trying to adjust it. Louder than I thought but quiet in eco mode Overall I'm happy because the picture quality is great. Price paid £550 31/03/19

First of all I've had several projectors ranging from £50 upto £200 and all were disappointing you could never watch any in daylight or a lighted room. I was hesitant at spending this amount of money for a projector that I will only use for sports and gaming in the summer house but I gave in and I couldn't be happier. like other projectors it was easy to set up I connected my firestick and away we go. The picture quality is excellent and the 2 pictures I've added one is where I had the main light on and off on the other picture and even though you can see it's not as clear or Sharpe it is still good enough quality to watch and obviously you can alter the settings to improve the picture but i wanted to show it as it was. I have played a few games from my console and in game mode there's no lag at all and it feels unbelievable on such a large screen. There is some fan noise but you don't notice it after a while . The sound isn't up to my standard but as far as projectors go it's the best I've heard and I'm not saying it's bad it's just I'm used to using high quality speakers but I ended up adding my echo studio which was much better as I do like base in sound. I would say the only thing missing is Bluetooth connectivity. But if your looking for a quality projector I would highly recommend this one as it could easily replace your TV.

Ich habe lange gesucht und schließlich mit dem Viewsonic PX706HD Kurzdistanzbeamer das Maß aller Dinge für meinen Einsatz gefunden. Ich verwende ihn als Projektor für meinen Golfsimulator mit einer 4:3 Darstellung und war mir nicht sicher ob ein HD-Beamer die richtige Wahl dafür ist. Aber die Qualität bei der gewünschten Darstellung mit 1400x1050 Pixeln ist überragend. Bei 2.10 Meter Abstand zur Leinwand habe ich eine Bildbreite von 2.80 Metern, ohne den Zoom zu verwenden. Durch das verbaute optische Zoom ist die optimale Anpassung an den gewünschten Abstand perfekt möglich. Absolute Kaufempfehlung.

I mainly bought this project because I wanted a short throw projector, with full 1080p (not 4k). I have a 100" screen and the projector is about 5' from the screen. This projector has a very nice, clear, crisp, and bright picture. The fan isn't very noisy either. We use this too watch about 80% of all our entertainment. (DVD and streaming) This has also worked out great for 3D. Although I've had this project for about 1 year, I just bought 3D glasses and a couple movies. This project IS equipped with DLP-link so any DLP-Link active glasses will work. Je cherchais un vidéo projecteur essentiellement pour film et jeux vidéo, j’en suis très satisfait, l’image est somptueuse: contraste, temps de réponse , pas d’image fantôme... j’en passe tellement ai été bluffé. Le son est de bonne qualité mais assez faible, donc je ne l’utilise pas. Certain ce plaignent du bruit produit par le vidéo projecteur, je fait parti des gens qui mettent « le son fort » surtout quand je regarde un film sur grand écran et je n’ai ressenti aucune mais aucune gêne, Pas encore testé la 3D.

This is a great projector for the money

Matériel encore au top 4 ou 5 années après son achat. Passer d'un écran télé à une vidéoproj sur écran c'est faire cinéma à chaque fois ;-)
