Works on curved monitors
I use this webcam for remote sales calls, and it has been an absolute game changer. Clients cannot tell at all when I am reading notes off my screen because I am looking directly at them the entire time. I was worried about fit since I use an ultra wide curved monitor, but the bendable, adjustable bracket molds perfectly to fit the screen securely. The software that comes with it is super useful. I was using OBS software to zoom in, but then AI told me that it comes with a software itself to zoom in and that's much easier and it uses up less computer resources. The default field of view is pretty wide, but the software allows you to zoom in so you can frame yourself properly and feel closer on calls. It is very easy to flip up and down to get it out of your sightline when you are not actively on a call. The video quality is very clear, and it plugs directly into the usbc port on my MacBook Air. I did notice there is a tiny bit of wiggle room when the camera is pulled down where it can lean slightly forward or backward. I am not sure if that is intentional for micro adjusting the camera angle, but it is something worth noting. Regardless, it does not detract from how well this camera functions. Highly recommended for anyone doing virtual presentations or video sales.

Eye Level
The iContact Camera Pro 4K Eye Contact Webcam has been an excellent addition to my setup. One of the biggest challenges with virtual meetings and video content is maintaining eye contact while looking at your screen, but this camera makes that much easier. The video quality is sharp and professional, and the eye-contact design creates a more natural, engaging experience when speaking with others. Whether you're leading a Zoom meeting, recording a presentation, participating in an interview, or creating content, it helps you appear more connected and present. I also appreciate how easy it is to use. The setup is straightforward, and the overall design feels like it was created with professionals, speakers, coaches, and content creators in mind.

Super Cool But Quality of the Video Isn't There.
Idea was good. Set up worked. Problem is quality of the camera is really low and software is buggy. I was super optimistic but no bueno.

Pluses and minuses
I originally purchased this webcam a few weeks ago and it performed well for about a week and a half and then it stopped working. I thought perhaps the issue was with the usb c cable so I switched it out and it still didn’t work. I even plugged the usb into the wall outlet to see if that was the trouble but it didn’t remedy the issue. I will say that icontact has excellent customer service and they were happy to exchange it for one that worked. I have yet to try it out though fingers crossed. It should be noted that there are two versions of this webcam, both priced the same. One has a usb port on the unit (the original one I purchased) and the other one that I currently own is fixed to the body. Customer service said the fixed version is more stable so I am hopeful that I won’t have any additional issues. Also, know that the unit is somewhat fragile, particularly the arm that swings down. And, the light indicator doesn’t always work but it doesn’t mean the camera is not functioning well. Aside from these issues the video is stable and lighting and quality are good. I know others have complained about video quality but I didn’t run into this issue. I also noticed that the camera doesn’t always align with a person’s face but this is due to the location of their face on the screen. It would be highly beneficial if the arm could adjust up and down to compensate for head position. Finally, others have complained about the camera tilting away from the screen. By adjusting how the device is attached to your computer it no longer maintains this issue. I am hopeful that I won’t have to return this one though if I do I will write another review.

Good enough to keep, but lacking
I like that the camera is compact and drops down to eye level. I have a larger monitor and so it was nice having an option specifically for that. The price was reasonable, but the value was overshadowed by several disappointments. The bummers: 1. The frame rate is not very good. When I move, such as gesturing with my hands, the image becomes blurry and trails behind. 2. The camera can zoom in, but it cannot zoom out. I have to sit too far back to fit natural hand gestures into the frame, then move closer whenever I need to use the keyboard. (Auto focus is disabled, zoom is 0% and can't be disabled) 3. The sound quality suffers when I sit farther away, which makes the overall experience feel clunky. I ended up buying a lapel microphone to address the audio issue. 4. The description mentions USB but does not clearly explain that the camera uses USB-C 3.2. This created unnecessary compatibility confusion, and I had to purchase an adapter. The adapter supports 5 Gbps, which should be more than enough for 4K video. 5. The included USB-C 3.2 cable is far too short. It was not long enough to reach my computer tower, even though the tower sits directly below my desk at floor level. 6. The overall image quality seems acceptable, but the focus does not appear to prioritize the person in front of the camera. When I sit farther back, I become blurry. The focus seems progressive across the entire image rather than locking onto the human subject. 7. The instructions rely on a QR code, but it is printed so small that my iPhone could not read it. 8. There is an app for configuring the camera, but the package instructions do not clearly identify it. I had to search separately to find the correct app. 9. The app itself has a non-standard interface. It appears to be accessible only through the system tray, and when it loses focus, the window disappears. I then have to return to the tray to bring it back. This made the configuration process feel unnecessarily clunky. I wanted to like this camera because of its compact design and eye-level positioning, but these limitations made it more frustrating and expensive to use than expected. I'm keeping it, however, because of the camera dropdown feature which allows me to maintain eye contact.

Priceless eye-to-eye contact with clients online!
This thing is great! I do a lot of 1:1 coaching work with my clients and it's a game-changer. You go from looking somewhere to the side to making direct eye-to-eye contact on screen. That's a massive difference in my line of work. NOTE: If you use a laptop, choose the laptop version - it's slightly cheaper than the desktop version.

Great Concept!
Great camera. No issues with image quality. Fits well and easily mounts on top of my monitor. I don't use the mic capabilities as I have a Rode mic instead, but love the 'eye contact' concept and am able to put the camera right where my PowerPoint previews are, so I'm looking right at the audience as I reference my notes. Unlike my experience with Logitech, the control app works well, and I can control zoom and other settings. Expensive, but the quality is there and I've had no issues.

Makes video meetings better until it doesn’t
I work from home so I’m always in video meetings. It’s so awkward when I catch myself on screen looking down instead of looking at the other people in the meeting. This felt like the perfect solution! It was so easy to set up, and it worked like a charm until it didn’t. Almost two months from the day I bought it, the camera gave out. What an expensive two-month experiment. I went back to the little camera my employer sent to me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’m really impressed with this webcam. I work from home and have a lot of video calls, so good image quality is essential — and this camera delivers perfectly. The picture is clear, the colors look natural, and the light correction works great even on cloudy days. My older son also uses it for his streaming, and it performs just as well for him. Overall, a great purchase for both work and creative use

DONT BUY
DONT BUY. The product was clearly used before. There was dust on the lens and the protective sticker was partly removed and dusty. The image quality is also not 4k.

Happy purchase
I felt silly spending this much on a camera but I've enjoyed it so far. It has food customization options for audio and video and the design is very clever. It's good the camera itself is so small so it rarely blocks what's on the screen.
