TeeLux Vanilla Matcha Green Tea Powder, First Harvest Premium Matcha + Delicate Vanilla Powder, Flavorful & Aromatic, Hot or Iced Tea, 3.5oz

This is a 100 gram resealable zipper pouch of vanilla matcha tea powder, from TeeLux. It arrived fresh and factory sealed. I have to confess I don't really know anything about matcha, even though I've been drinking it pretty regularly for a few months. I do know what tastes good to me though, and this matcha definitely does. I usually put a couple of teaspoons in about 12 oz of cold filtered water, and mix it with a handheld electric frother, then add whole milk to taste. I like the "green" flavor of matcha, and this has that, and it also has vanilla powder which makes it even better. The floral vanilla flavor matches exceptionally well with the matcha and makes a really enjoyable drink. And at the current price at the time I'm writing this of $14.99, I think this is an excellent value as well.

Good matcha flavor with a hint of vanilla. Not a matcha expert, but tasting as matcha without any additives seemed bitter. Add a teaspoon of raw sugar and it is better. Add ice and another sugar and this is a beverage to be proud of and serve to friends. So I think this is a good base for matcha beverages. This is very finely ground and would be for confectionery use. I am tempted to sprinkle it on a chocolate bar - that would be quite luscious, short of making some truffles.

This dissolves well with a little hot water. I've been adding it to both cold and steamed milk to make lattes. I think it has a very nice flavor and is super easy to use

Not ceremonial matcha by any means but tastes good, the vanilla notes are quite noticable

I ordered this tea for my wife and I to enjoy. We love matcha tea, but had never tried it with vanilla powder mixed in. It's delicious! It brings a new dimension to green tea. We like it with a little sugar or honey. As the label shows, the only ingredients are green tea and vanilla powder. The instructions for preparation are right on the package as well. It's quick and easy to make and tastes great. Five stars.

Let me first say that I love this tea company and have purchased several of their other blends. I'm not normally a fan of matcha, I think it tastes kind of fishy, but wanted to try this blend hoping the vanilla flavor would make it tastier. I added one teaspoon to 5oz of 176 degree water. It smells amazing after it's whisked in with the warm water, but it doesn't taste amazing. It was surprisingly bitter. Yes, I know matcha has a bit of a bitter taste, but this was overly so. I added a lot of creamer, hoping to sweeten it, but I just couldn't flavor it to taste. My spouse loves matcha, so I had them try it, and they also thought it was a bitter matcha. I brewed it a second time so my matcha loving teen could try it, and she also thought it was on the bitter side, but that it tasted on par with traditional matchas, hence the two stars. So this is definitely an acquired taste unless you're already used to traditional matcha.

I as nervous about picking a good or bad matcha for my first try but I was very happy with this one! The matche is finely ground and disolves easily in hot water. The flavor is amazing without being sickeningly sweet, it's lightly vanilla flavor is a great pairing with the green team flavors.

Pretty tasty, easy to make, and a lovely way to incorporate matcha in your tea routine!
