This is such an amazing primer! I love using it for my full beat makeup routine. My makeup lasts a long time with this primer, and the consistency isn't too thick or heavy. It has just the right amount of stickiness, unlike other products.

The best primer I’ve used on my face! My T- Zone gets very oily whenever I’m put on makeup and I don’t like that and so I was on the hunt to find one that really work especially for long hours. This Maybeline Grippy really did just that and then it acts as skincare so 2 in 1 ? Loooove! The first time trying it, I went to an event and my face was still a face at the end. It wasn’t giving oily and ready to come off. Definitely a 10 for me.

This is THE BEST primer I’ve ever tried! It’s so hydrating and sticky and makes my makeup last all day long without even having to touch up. I will be repurchasing forever.

It sets nicely on your skin and I think it helps "set" my make-up for a longer wear throughout the day. It doesn't clog my pores or make my skin dry out. I have pretty sensitive skin, so I have to be pretty picky about what I put on my skin. Trust me, it's been a journey to get here, buts it's been well worth it. Thanks Maybelline!!

Great choice for under makeup primer. Note: Used & loved as an under makeup primer. Sticking with smashbox for when I want to wear primer without makeup. After applying the serum, I gave it a couple of minutes to set. I then use liquid foundation mixed with a tad bit of moisturizer, applied with my fingers & then finished with a foundation brush. Added in powder contour & stick blush. It gave my entire makeup routine 100% better staying power! 8 hours after applying, I sprayed my face with a hydrating primer water and kept on going. Everything was still fresh looking by the end of the evening! I have slight creases and this serum kept my makeup in place & from sliding into crease lines. It's really easy to apply using the dropper & then just rubbing it in. You don't need alot, 1/2 of a dropper did it for me. I definitely think that it's worth a try if you are looking for something affordable that will help your makeup last for extended lengths of time.

I have used Milk Makeup Hydro Grip primer for years - I am 55 and have oily skin so my makeup never stays on. But with the Hydro Grip, my makeup stays on longer and I look rather glowy. It's really spendy though so I went to look for an alternative when I found the Maybelline Grippy Serum Primer. I used it the same way as the Hydro Grip....applied after moisturizing and let it dry. My makeup stays on just as well and I am equally glowy at a fraction of the cost. I'm a believer!

I’d say this primer is just okay. It is VERY light so if that’s what you’re going for get it. I would reccomend this for people who don’t wear a lot of makeup and aren’t excepting it to last a long time. It also purges your skin because of the naicinamide

This is a great primer that gives the same effect as the Milk Hydrogrip, but for $15 instead of $40! (the amount of product you get is about the same, too) I like the serum formula and find that half a dropper covers my t-zone nicely. I have textured skin with a bit of scarring and find this very hydrating and texture-appearance-minimising. No complaints! The bottle is glass and quite pretty

Ok let's start off with the fact that I'm almost 40, and have what is considered "mature skin". I've tried countless "high-end" primers, and I like this the best. It doesn't leave my skin feeling oily, like a lot of primers do, and my makeup stays in place from 7am until at least midnight, without moving at all. I'm almost convinced that I could sleep in this and wake up looking exactly the same. The makeup I use on top of it doesn't cake or crease, and my skin looks beautiful. I'm pretty pale (almost Casper-like), so any texture on my skin shows up like crazy, and now I dont have to worry about that with this primer under my makeup. My teenage daughter keeps trying to steal it from my vanity, so I guess I'd better get her one, too. Anyway, I love this primer and highly recommend it!
