It Works!
I am 58 years old. I have been applying A313 four out of seven nights a week-the nights before I go to work. I do not have any issues with excessive stinging or redness; so I am not mixing it with my face cream. It feels a bit like petroleum jelly when it first goes on; hence the use throughout the night. When you wake up in the morning, your skin is so smooth and soft. And I saw results the very first day I had used it. The lines at the corners of my eyes, the bags under my eyes and the loose skin on my neck where all much less noticeable. I am loving how youthful it is making me look and feel. I only wish it would have a more permanent effect. I lasts about 8-12 hours for me. But perhaps after I use it for several months, I might see longer-term changes.

Definitely works
Amazing stuff and everyone should have this on their skin routine. I use every other day and my skin is the best it’s ever been - advice; applied to wet moisturised skin, cos it tingles!

Effective, low dose - with quirks but few of the usual retinol irritations
As a 54-year-old retinol 'connoisseur,' I had high hopes for A313 given some of the celebrity hype. I'm currently using it every 2-3 nights, depending on how my sensitive, reactive skin feels. While it does leave my skin smooth and nicely refined, the texture takes some getting used to. It’s quite thick and needs to be warmed in your hands before applying so that the skin doesn't drag. It also feels slightly tacky after application, which might not be for everyone. Even though it's not the most drying retinol treatment, there's sometimes a slight tingle, and I usually slather a thick night cream over it to mitigate the drying effects. And - in spite of the 'miracle' hype - the retinol content is actually very low compared with some other products, so it'll never be a silver bullet for aging (though that also makes this a good option for first-time users). I haven't experienced the usual flakiness/tingling which often come with a new retinol product or huge outbreak of reactivity (the odd aggravating 'purging pimple'). Whether it meets the hype, I guess, really depends on your skin type and age - and it hasn't worked miracles because nothing does, especially for the incredibly reasonable price. Worth a try for anyone who doesn’t mind the slightly 'medical' texture and smudges on the pillow case.

Unsure
To be honest, since I purchased this i find myself rarely reaching for it. It’s definitely heavy on the skin and can cause burning sensation at times. I was influenced by tiktok to try it, i’m not sure if it affected my acne scars or not as I don’t use it than often because it makes my skin very sticky and tacky. I have acne prone sensitive skin for reference, maybe it will work on other skin types.

The best product on the market
A313 is the best anti aging cream in my opinion. I'm in my 70s and have been using it consistently for over 10 years. My skin has remained firm and practically wrinkle free. I recommend this product to anyone. It is great value for money and much more effective than creams costing 10 times more. One tube lasts months.

Great product
Bought this as I read in a Sunday magazine it was very good. You use a few times a week and not daily as it a very strong product. Has the consistency of Vaseline but obviously works differently. I think it has worked very well but I imagine if you have very sensitive skin it may irritate. Read instructions carefully before use. I think it is excellent and a very good price. Would recommend.

Itchy & irritating
The itch is horrendous. I made sure my skin was thoroughly dry after cleansing before application of pea sized amount. The itching is awfull. Tried using it with moisturiser and while this reduced the itch it didn't reduce it sufficiently enough fir it to be worth perseverance. Mixing it with moisturiser reduces its efficacy anyway. This is a retinol ester. Its not retinol. It contains Retinyl Palmitate which has to undergo THREE chemical changes on the skin to become retinol. The concentration is very weak and is debatable as to the accuracy. To go through all that skin irritation for a negligible amount of Retinol is simply nonsense I prefer The Ordinary 2% RETINAL which is only a one step change on the skin to Retinol and it works

My fave night time skin product
I LOVE this stuff! I NEVER post reviews so please take my rec and buy the cream! Pros: AMAZING skin texture, it’s helping out my hyperpigmentation and melasma, and keeping breakouts down. When used right, super comfortable to sleep in. I wake up with the plumpest, glowing skin and after a wash and sunscreen, I’m ready for the day! I have sensitive skin and this product does not irritate my skin if used correctly (see tips). Cons: It doesn’t smell that great but not at all bad. It smells like how Vaseline smells but different. It’s also thick but don’t be tempted to use more (see tips). Tips/Advice: 1. It WILL itch if you use a lot. Made that mistake one night and washed it off my face within 5 minutes. PEA SIZED AMOUNT or LESS, please heed my warning! It will spread out just fine with the warmth of your face but again, less is more with this product (and will stretch your dollars farther)! 2. Don’t use it on a wet face as water, water-based products, and liquid products will make it itch/sting/tingle (this is my experience at least). I use it just before I’m ready to go to bed (it stays on my nightstand) and I apply a little bit before I go to sleep. This is so any products I use at night have time to dry down on my face. It’s my last step in my night time routine. Make sure you wash it off in the morning and USE SUNSCREEN! 3. Build up to using it more often. I can comfortably now use it every other night but it took me a whole month to get to a point where I wasn’t worried about any reactions. (I only had one reaction tho and that was my own fault.) With any new skincare product, you SHOULD let your skin acclimate to the ingredients and formulas. This product is definitely controversial in the reviews but don’t let it scare you. Just take the precaution and build up your tolerance for it before wearing it every single night off the bat. It’s really concentrated so again, take your time and only use a pea-sized amount or less. I’m talking a small pea too, or like the size of a peppercorn! Hope this is helpful. I will update with a “before and after” after more time using. I’ve been using it for a month and have already noticed phenomenal difference in my skin. Give it time, build up to using it more often, and wear your sunscreen. I REPEAT, WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN.

can be used by retinol beginners
I have been using the cream for about 3 weeks and had never used a retinoid before. I wanted to give it a try because I'd heard very good things about it and it contain retinyl esters and not retinol, so I figured that it could be suitable for beginners too. I started by using a a pea-sized amount and buffered by using a moisturiser first, followed by the cream. I broke out in the first two weeks which I believe was a "retinol purge". I only had some very minor irritation. I used it twice a week in the first couple of weeks and have now increased to three times. It's too early to say anything about results but the break outs are gone now and my skin has a good complexion the morning after applying the cream. I mainly wanted to leave a review on how to start. So if you're not super sensitive and start carefully by buffering first, you can use this cream even if you've never used a retinol before.

10/10, but do your research
its been 4 weeks using this product. i introduced it into my routine as i would with any other retinol/retinoid product. i decided to switch to this as other products were just too harsh. mid 20's and sensitive skin w/ rosacea. ive found this to work best and feel the most comfortable rotating with other products through the week. i do NOT use this within 24-48 hours after more involved exfoliation. ive been less sensitive to the product when mixed with moisturizer- which is advised on the packaging instructions. i also have slight milia on my chin. i have noticed it does irritate my slight rosacea, but is gone by morning. it hasnt improved or worsened, but i also rotate other products through the week for different problems (one of which being my rosacea). my milia & hormonal acne is significantly improved, but i cant report on texture as i dont have notable fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, etc. mixing with a thick moisturizer works best for me with dry skin & too "watery" or gel consistency gives a slight tingle. nothing painful or unbearable, just something to note.

Helps your skins peeling off
It works perfectly fine like Retin A but not that strong like Retin A. I prefer to use Retin A though but for something without prescriptions. For sensitive skins better try a small bit to do allergies test first. The first week I used the cream direct on my skins and it peeled (I want it that way), then I started to use moisturiser between layer which is work fine, but less peeling. My skins turned smooth and the fine lines are less visible. During the day you need to apply the sunscreens. It's worth the money.
