Very happy with results
I did a lot of research before purchasing this product and all the reviews said it’s the best quality for the low price, I wanted to stop the rattle from my 2 12in subs. my car went from sounding like a tin can rolling down the road to a solid beast. Absolutely no rattle whatsoever. Now instillation was a breeze the longest part was preparing the trunk for the mat, once I started laying the mat it went extremely fast. It cuts super easily with a box cutter and adheres very well. It’s pretty easy to work as well I definitely recommend buying some rollers with the product tho it will make the job so much easier, very happy with the product and even bought another box to put on the roof of my car.

Best bang for buck (2012 Honda Civic Coupe EX-L)
Going on a long road trip caused some concerns due to wind and road noise while driving. I had no idea how much noise dampening my car was missing. Therefore, I started looking around Amazon to find the cheapest sound deadening per square foot. Stumbling across this, I wanted to see how much of a difference it would make and how difficult it would be to just do the doors. Each door (only 2) took around 1 1/2 hours that I did on separate days. These made a HUGE difference in the wind noise and I would highly recommend starting there. Seeing as it worked, I was ready to buy more and make the leap to do the entire car. Next, I did the trunk and used around 20 square feet of the stuff. This made a large difference to the engine noise and road noise that was usually a lot louder. There, I was also able to reach some of the side panels from the inside which in reduced more wind noise. Finally, I did the entire cabin in a day. That was a rough one. Took around an hour or two to get front seats, trim pieces, center console, back seats, and headliner down. Then the carpet came out and everything was cleaned. Throwing that rubber stuff everywhere took a couple more hours and then finally putting everything back together took another two. In total, around 8 hours I spent in the car trying to do everything. Was it worth it? I think for the price I payed and for the DIY aspect of it, yes. It was easy but time consuming. The trip was luxurious as a civic could get and I would recommend the product. I was able to actually hear my Bluetooth calls and people could hear me loud and clear. TLDR: Time consuming and laborious. Adds a good touch and reduces headaches.

Great Toyota Tacoma
Makes a difference, especially doubled up in thin areas. Very, very worth it for the price. I’m sure there’s better out there but this is good.

This stuff works!!
I got two packs of this stuff after getting a custom exhaust on my G37 sedan. It's pretty loud (but sounds good) and droned around 2.5-3.5k rpm. Not only is this stuff easy to install, easy to cut and affordable... It really works!! I have covered at least 75% of the trunk (and it's not a small trunk either) and I haven't even used up the first box yet! I did the very rear wall and down into the beginning of the spare wheel area first and took it for a drive to see how it was doing so far, and it was already sooooooo much better. I did basically the rest of the trunk and it still got even a little bit better, but the biggest effect was the rear area right above the exhaust tips which makes sense. So I might do a 2nd layer back there and call it good. It's already 100% livable and I don't mind it at all, but I do still get a few rattles so I'd like to get rid of those before calling it quits. I'll probably keep what I have left and not sell it so when I have other parts of the car taken apart for whatever reason I can line them and get it nice and quiet. I really REALLY like this stuff.

Automotive sound deadener
I have used this sound deadening material on several occasions. It is easy to apply and not too bulky. I does what it is intended to do, insulate and deaden sound.

I bought this because I was getting alot of road noise inside my Ford Ranger. Seeing as it was basically just a tin can with rubber / plastic interior the road noise inside the cab was quite loud especially with my worn out tires. I did the installation in sections starting with the front doors, then the back doors, the back of the cab, and even had a little extra to lay on the floor. In between each instillation I test drove the car on the highway to see how it sounded. I was blown away how effective this stuff is, my ranger almost feels like a luxury vehicle (not really) I can play my music significantly quieter and with the extra damping the plastic no longer vibrates. The 25sqft was enough to do the whole cab (2 sheets left for the floor) and instillation was extremely easy when I cut each sheet into 8 segments. This stuff is a game changer I would recommend this to anyone without a luxury car. I have future plans to take it 1 step further and buy some closed cell foam insulation to go on top

First of all, I have not used this for it's intended purpose. I used this to dampen the sound of my keyboard, it was creating an annoying ping sound, putting this in the bottom of the case deadened the sound entirely. I've since used this for a number of modifications where unwanted vibrations were to be found. I made feet for my audio equipment from this, plus added it to the side and feet of my dishwasher which would send vibrations through the house. As far as I'm concerned this just fixes any unwanted vibrations and at first I was annoyed that I had to buy so much when I needed less than an A4 sheet, but now I'm scared that I'll run out of it.
