Surprisingly nice pen
Bought this pen as it looked good and had some good reviews. Didn’t have much expectations but was trying. This pen is small pocket pen somewhat similar to Kaweco Al Sport. Dimensions are slightly different. I can use the pen unposted easily whereas Kawecos are a bit difficult. Look wise it’s well polished and solid. It comes with a converter which is a big plus (unlike kawecos). Writing wise the nib is butter smooth. Too smooth for my style of writing (luckily no baby bottom issues which I feared) All in all good pen for the price. It’s way cheaper than Kaweco and hope it lasts like my Kawecos did (years and even decades for some) Kaweco still wins but at a different price point altogether

Just buy it, it's gorgeous
The first impression: I love the light weight, and the length is perfect for me when the cap is posted. I have a medium nib which writes beautifully and gives a slight flat edge compared to my everyday Lamy Safari. I'm not mad about expensive pens, more about whether they inspire me to write. I can judge a pen by the pages that pass without even realising, and this stunning and very cheap Hongdian M2 wins in all departments. I've found that Waterman ink is a little too dry for my Lamy Safari and will stall after a few quick A4 pages, so have switched ink to a wetter ink - the Jacque Herbin - which gushes forth with no indication of a dry nib, yet needs time to dry on the paper. Using the Waterman in this M2 is a match made in heaven. The flow is greater than the Lamy, and so the balance with Waterman ink is perfect. Dense, flowing freely, yet not overly wet. The M2 is a screw cap, light and small, and so a perfect travel pen with an A5 notebook. That is what was intended, but I think I like this pen more than the Lamy (and it's cheaper too!), and imagine it will be my mainstay. It's hard to think of the Lamy AL-Star as expensive, but compared to this pen, which I feel is nicer, it may be the case. The converter that comes fitted is quite small capacity, and so a pack of 3.4mm cartridges will have to come along with me on travels, and I'll probably refill them. At £17.99, I may have to buy a couple more for different colour inks, and I now know that the Waterman inks are perfect I won't need to experiment any further. I'm guessing that the Jacque Herbin will be too wet, and Diamine ink probably far too wet. Of course, I won't be able to resist trying. Overall - this pen is incredible, and the price is crazy. Just buy one. You won't regret it.

A Beautiful looking Travel Fountain Pen !!
I am very happy with the purchase of this Fountain Pen. I love the spring loaded clip on the cap. The pen material is anodized Aluminium and very light! 24 grams. Sleek design with ink converter included. It is the best travel pen to carry and very durable. The pen writes very smoothly with the medium black nib ! The pen cap is screw type and posts very well. A pen worth to have in one’s FP collection!!
