Price to Measure Tape length ratio unmatched.
If you attempt to push the button and let it freely fold back in, the plastic mechanism inside might break. I accidentally let it freely fold back in and it felt like it almost broke. But for the length and price, I 'll let it slide.

Fantastic
Very nice quality I use it for surf fishing and have zero problems thus far. Very nice design with large numbers and very accurate. Great value for the price and the spring inside has not failed yet after 4 seasons.

Good measuring tape
Good measuring tape for fishing. Doesn't need much room to store in your tackle box or bag. It serves its purpose. For the price you can't beat it.

Doesn’t start right at zero
I really like that it’s retractable, but it doesn’t start right at zero like my other measuring tape, which is an issue at times.

Poor Workmanship
Poor workmanship. The D-ring that prevents the tape from getting sucked into the mechanism came off... and predictably, the tape got sucked into the mechanism. Just to be clear, I wasn't even using it at the time. The tape didn't "snap". It was literally sitting on my desk. I'm seeking warranty support.

Decent fishing measure
I'm using this for salt and freshwater fishing and it seems to do the job just fine. It's at least somewhat water resistant if not waterproof. Since most fishing gear is semi-disposable the low cost is a plus.

It works good
50 times better/efficient then loose tape(s). Automatic retract is super. I give 18 stars 11-14-24
