Dioptics Solar Comfort Cascade Sport Sunglasses Polarized Wrap, Black, 54 mm

My eye doctor gave me a pair of these to wear after removing the pterygium from my left eye. After cataract surgery in both eyes, I tossed my regular glasses and began wearing these while hiking and cycling. They stop the wind from blowing into my eyes! Love that! Only reason I gave them a 4 for sun protection is that they are not polarized. Amazon says they are polarized but my eye doctor tested them this morning and confirmed that they are not polarized. My old sunglasses were polarized, making it impossible to read the GPS on my bike. These don't do that.

This is a replacement for a pair I broke. I like them.

Just had PRK eye surgery broke the glasses luckily I was able to find this one off. Amazon works really great.

I dont like Lance Armstrong level sporty glasses, nor do i have the face for aviators or even some variant of standard rectangular serengeti drivers glasses. Most of those don't "wrap around" much or at all either. I loved my Oakley Half-Jackets while in the military but sunglasses get lost and scratched and therefore are never worth more than a few bucks. Only rules are (1) Polarized and (2) brown lenses for low light and black lenses when it's bright and catching violent mirror/window or crome reflections. The shape of these lenses, for me, could not be better. Looks hundred.

I bought these for my husband but they were way to small for him so I kept them for myself. He bought a pair at Rite Aid and can't find another pair like this one. I thought for sure I would find them on Amazon, so we will both keep looking.

If I could give it 0 stars I would the lenses were different one was shiny the other not as if it was never polished, which rendered it completely unusable. You couldn’t see through the unpolished side. there is a reason it’s super cheap.

great paid of sunglasses for when you need that extra protection of a wrap-around style. Just wish the lenses were a bit darker.

When I had cataract surgery a couple of years ago I was given 'special' glasses to wear afterwards. I loved them so much, I had to find them to get more. These aren't the same exact glasses; but, definitely do the trick to block out the sun.
