Yes you can find less expensive disks, but these last longer and are a perfect fit for the 5" rotex.

This sandpaper works fine but I don't believe it is heads above most other paper you get. I bought a Festool random orbital sander because they are believed to be really high quality and, maybe they are, but the crazy price of this replacement paper (since they have a different hole pattern than everyone else, you have no choice but to pay big) is going to prevent me from buying one again when this one wears out.

Amazon has the lowest price for these, highly recommend buying them here instead of Home Depot!

Festool sandpaper is worth the little bit extra you may pay initially. The pad works amazing with their sanders and lasts much longer than any other brand that I have used. I never thought I would be happy to pay more for sandpaper but in the end, festool is actually a less expensive pad since it lasts longer and works better.

I have switched to the new Granat papers for all of my wood sanding. I am a hobbyist woodworker, making furniture. The paper is a new formulation from Festool, that lasts longer than their other papers and does not load up nearly as much. Therefore, it lasts longer. While Festool papers are not inexpensive, their system makes sanding, my least-favorite woodworking activity, at least tolerable. There are holes in the paper that match the holes in the sanding pads to remove virtually all of the sanding dust from the area when hooked up to a vacuum. The Granat paper is very effective and comes in a broad range of grits, so that it can be used from initial sanding to finishing.

I sand a project or cabinet face frame almost daily and these are great.

I tried a "knock off" product and was very disappointed. I need something with more reliability/durability and Festool products assure that.

Très bon produit, très bonne qualité de ponçage, bonne durabilité, parfait et en plus très économique. Juste une remarque, la photo du descriptif n’a pas le bon nombre de trous, il y en a 9, ce qui correspond bien à la référence Festool.
