what do you put in this? no biscuit size or otyhr treat seems to stay in base for me. help appreciated...

I have found square shaped or treats about the size of the opening are best. I use apple slices, natures recipe lamb biscuits, a local pet shops biscuits which were about the same size as the natures recipe maybe a little larger. Natural peanut butter will make just about any treat stick to it. All things I have had to work into the treat not just drop in work best. Hope this helps

Is this big enough for a large Lab

I have a 4 year old Pit Bull rescue. I have several West Paw toys for her. (She can chew through 3/4" Marine Plywood, and she's done it. But she hasn't made an dent in any of West Paw Toys. I got her the Ball, Large Bone and this TUX, I break up large dog biscuits and throw in some creamy peanut butter, to really pack it in. Usually keeps her busy for at least 1/2 hour to 45 min. then she plays with it tossing it around and chasing it. I just wash the toys and re-use......They all look like new, except for one or two canines scratches. These make all other chew toys obsolete. Great for dogs that like to chew. And my girl can CHEW.

Is it hard plastic, does it give some when large dogs chew on it?

it gives a little, good chew toy if dog likes it - def not hard plastic - if you throw it - it has a little bounce
