Review: Fabulous - A beautiful range of rich colours, especially suitable for the portrayal of nature (beautiful greens, greys, browns, blues and rich reds). They blend beautifully, being softer than Polychromos, but firmer than Luminance. The pencils lay down a lot of rich colour and hold their tip well. I bought these at an excellent price from desertcart Warehouse and would recommend them 100%. Review: Beautifully smooth, top quality - These are expensive but definitely worth investing in if you enjoy colour pencil drawing. However, I wouldn't recommend if you enjoy colouring books due to the cost. The colours are beautiful and they are so smooth to use and give the artist the textures they need for a realistic drawing. Like most pencils though you do need to take care not to drop them or over sharpen to avoid breakage. These are oil based pencils and top quality. ## Features - Derwent Lightfast Coloured Pencils In Tin: Set of 36 premium quality, fade-resistant colouring pencils in a range of bold shades; ideal for professional artists and hobbyists who exhibit their work - 100% Lightfast Coloured Pencils: Unique coloured core combats the effects of UV-rays to maintain colours, ensuring artwork will not fade for up to 100 years, under museum conditions - Professional Quality Artist’s Pencils: Oil-based, smooth and creamy with a beautiful laydown of rich colour; the thick, superior core gives dense colour application which brings vibrancy to any drawing - Best Used With: Derwent Lightfast Paper, perfect for creating Lightfast blending techniques when drawing, sketching, colouring, crafting and designing - at home, in the studio or on location - Contents: 36 x Derwent Lightfast Colouring Pencils In Tin, easy-to-grip barrels fit standard pencil sharpeners, 36 vivid colours formulated to combat the effects of UVA radiation ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07BQ32VDV | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Age range (description) | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | 19,026 in Stationery & Office Supplies ( See Top 100 in Stationery & Office Supplies ) 124 in Coloured Pencils for Adults | | Body Shape | Hexagonal | | Brand | Derwent | | Brand Name | Derwent | | Closure Type | Retractable | | Colour | Yellow,Green,White,Salmon,Violet,Brown,Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,689 Reviews | | Drill Point | Fine | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 2 Years | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05028252525862 | | Grip Type | smooth | | Hardness | 1.0 kg | | Included Components | Storage box | | Ink Colour | Multicolor | | Ink colour | Multicolor | | Is the Product Left or Right Handed? | Ambidextrous | | Item Diameter | 4 Millimetres | | Item Dimensions | 14 x 198 x 355 millimetres | | Item Type Name | Lightfast Coloured Pencil Tin | | Item Weight | 1.3 Pounds | | Line Size | 2mm_and_above | | Manufacturer | Artstat | | Material | Wood | | Material Type | Wood | | Model Name | Lightfast | | Model Number | a | | Pattern | Single | | Product Warranty | 2 year manufacturer | | Recommended Uses For Product | Drawing, Painting, Sketching | | Special Features | Erasable | | Style | Reusable Tin | | Theme | Artistic Expression | | Unit Count | 36.0 count | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | Writing Instrument Form | Colored Pencil | | Writing Technique | pencil lead | | Writing instrument form | Colored Pencil | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Brand:** Derwent - **Colour:** Yellow,Green,White,Salmon,Violet,Brown,Black - **Ink colour:** Multicolor - **Material:** Wood - **Model name:** Lightfast - **Point type:** Fine - **Special feature:** Erasable - **Unit count:** 36.0 count - **Writing instrument form:** Colored Pencil ## Images ![Derwent Lightfast Pencils, Fine Art Coloured Pencils, Tin of 36 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61E++zrhIrL.jpg) ![Derwent Lightfast Pencils, Fine Art Coloured Pencils, Tin of 36 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61GmNq9uqnL.jpg) ![Derwent Lightfast Pencils, Fine Art Coloured Pencils, Tin of 36 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/619B1iyF7GL.jpg) ![Derwent Lightfast Pencils, Fine Art Coloured Pencils, Tin of 36 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61KaWBQpVLL.jpg) ![Derwent Lightfast Pencils, Fine Art Coloured Pencils, Tin of 36 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61gFpianEkL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How do I use these pencils?** A: Suitable for all types of colour pencil styles and techniques, especially for those looking for their artwork to last over time. Really creamy and smooth and even the tin of twelve are good enoufh for most portraits. I amazed by the quality though I haven't yet attempted a super reality fully layered and blended drawing yet. Here is a very quick loosely sketch the face is all of Derwent Lightfast and included procolour for background. Waiting for blending solution to fully try. A joy to use though. ## Frequently Bought Together - Derwent Lightfast Colored Pencils 36 Tin, Set of 36, 4mm Wide Core, 100% Lightfast, Oil-based, Premium Core, Creamy, Ideal for Drawing, Coloring, Professional Quality (2302721) - Strathmore Colored Pencil Spiral Paper Pad 9"X12"-30 Sheets -62477900, White - Prismacolor Premier Pencil Sharpener --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://macau.desertcart.com/products/71009719-derwent-lightfast-pencils-fine-art-coloured-pencils-tin-of-36](https://macau.desertcart.com/products/71009719-derwent-lightfast-pencils-fine-art-coloured-pencils-tin-of-36) --- *Product available on Desertcart Macau* *Store origin: MO* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
