Easy to use
Works great! Easy push down and let go, no need to yank the door into it to keep the door open.

Door Stop
This item is sturdy holds the door in place. Itโs heavy enough even to hold a heavier, commercial door great item.

A decent doorstop (if you make a slight revision)
This is listed as a "frequently returned item." I had to return one of these myself because the spring inside broke after only a few days, but I bought another one, and with a slight revision, it works fine and has for a while. The issue is that the gripping in the back is too much and you need to assert too much force on the doorstop to get it to move across the floor, which breaks the spring inside. All you have to do is peel off the gripping it comes with on the back (it's very easy, and you can very likely put it back on if you need to) and stick one of those Velcro brand fastening strips (one of the soft, fuzzy strips, not a rough, scratchy one) on the back instead. It will slide across the floor easier and not assert so much pressure on the spring. I'm not sure of this would be suitable for a heavy door on a tile floor, such as in a classroom, but it will definitely work on carpet, hardwood, etc. I'm glad I tried this and it worked, because it's a decent quality, versatile doorstop.

Don't Recommend Using on Exterior Doors
Works as designed, but I wanted to use it on my home's front exterior door. The spring of the door stop is so stiff, I'm afraid it might damage the rubber weather seal on the bottom of my door.

Door won't move when wind blows.
These door stops are well worth the money. They stay where they are put and provide continuous pressure on bottom of door so door remains in the position one requires. We purchased 2 of these door stops to use on set of doors going out into our deck in the backyard. Without going into a lot of detail albeit to say there have been several days when there has been a strong breeze. Even gusts in excess of 30 mph. Before getting the door stops nothing seemed to keep door from opening and closing. After getting and using these door stops the door has remained in the open position. Because of the spring mechanism used to keep pressure on door bottom the door does not move off the stop. Then when one wants to remove the stop one only need push down on the stop to release the pressure and door can be closed.
