This is the best magnetic dart board I've seen. I was nervous to get a magnetic one because usually they're no good but I wanted something safe for little kids. This thing is fantastic. The darts fly and stick really well. My boys are rough and haven't caused any damage to this yet. I wish the board was a little more solid but overall it's been a lot of fun for the whole family.

Our kids and their friends love this toy, the darts fly pretty well and are pretty sturdy. The magnets stick pretty well, but they do have a tendency to bounce off the board and shift an inch lower than where it first strikes the board. But this is not a serious con, unless you are very serious about darts - in which case you shouldn't be buying a cheap kids version to begin with. The game is a lot of fun, good enough that our son wants to take this to school for a game day. Its a bit hard to mount on the wall correctly - if you put screws both for the top and the bottom of the board - the board sits snugly and doesn't move while taking the darts off. Also, the darts don't damage the wall at all - this was after a kid-party with 10 boys throwing these darts at the board/wall with abandon.

I was looking for a safe dartboard that my daughters can have in their rooms to play with. The board itself is very thin and light, which gives the impression that it is very flimsy. For what it was made for, it is actually made soundly, but because of the way it is made, I feel it should cost a lot less than what they are charging for it. It comes with 6 magnetic darts, 3 blue and 3 orange. The darts each have a flat magnet where the dart tip should be and the shaft is made of a mesh type material with a small funnel shape at the end. No feathers or edges, so it is a very safe dart. I've had magnetic dart boards in the past where you had a 50% chance of them sticking to the board based upon how hard you throw the darts. These magnets are very strong which is both a good and bad thing. Good in that 100% of the throws stick, but Bad because if you happen to throw very close to your other darts, it will stick to the dart instead of the board. My kids don't take issue with this, as they just count it as sticking to the same spot as the first dart and tally points that way. It bugs me staring at a sideways dart on the board, but if they like it, then I can't complain too much. Other than that, it is a perfect bedroom dartboard for kids. At the current $27 price tag, I would recommend this. If this was closer to $15 I would say it is a must buy for any child's room.

The first time I ordered/purchased this Magnetic Dart Board, was for for my bedroom, for myself. Then the rest of the family members started coming in my room just to play the magnetic darts (children and adults). So I purchased another Doinkit Dart Board for the family to use out in the living room. Then summer came, and we have a lanai with a pool in it. So I purchased my 3rd (third!) Magnetic Dart Board to put out on the lanai, and it was a hit. If you use to play darts when you were a kid/teenager, or even if you've never played - you need to purchase this Dart Board. If not for yourself, I can guarantee others will play it also.

We installed a dartboard cabinet in our gameroom, and we have kids. This dartboard was ideal for our need. The darts are safe for kids (and adults). It’s different from other typical magnet darts: it is stronger and the magnets do not fall off. It sticks well to the dartboard. The company was also responsive to questions and addressed our needs. Great experience and product!

I wanted a dart board in the game room, but with a toddler and dogs I didn't want the safety concerns of traditional darts. This dart board fits the bill perfectly! First and foremost, the actual mechanics of play are great. The darts stick to the board with authority. The board itself is well made - it's light-weight, but so far is standing up to use (and abuse) without showing any signs of wear. If you're a hardcore dart player this probably wouldn't be very satisfying, as the 'tips' are actually circular magnets so it's virtually impossible to group darts near each other like you can with traditional needle-tip darts. We only play for fun, so this was not an issue for us. Put it all together and this was a great purchase, great fun, and highly recommended.

The magnetic quality of the darts is no better or worse than other magnetic dart boards despite claims to the contrary. The body of the dart is a cheap molded trumpet shaped plastic that doesn't resemble a "dart" with a straight body and fins. They do not fly true and are not aerodynamic. It is always a guess as to where they will go. They are difficult to grasp for a decent throw. The package is probably ok for little kids who really aren't concerned with accuracy but even then it is vastly overpriced for the value. I previously owned one of the roll-up type magnetic dart board which was much less expensive and provided a better and more realistic experience.

This dart board was a HUGE hit on Christmas morning!! Even my husband was impressed with how realistic it looks. Last year I bought a different brand and the darts didn't stick well, it wasn't realistic looking, and my son was underwhelmed. This year, he was so excited - we hung it in our basement near my husband's real one! The darts stick really well and I'm so happy with this purchase!! Great quality, great price!

Haven't had the board long but seems great so far! We're enjoying it for a family game. The quality of the product seems good, the magnets work well.

The kids loved this game. The magnets are very strong and stick well to the board. Very good starter set for my 5 and 6 year old.

No way can these darts be aimed! like throwing a paper airplane made by a five year old.

Bought this for my 11 and 14 year old as well as for myself to play with the kids. Previously bought another magnetic dart board from amazon that I was very disappointed with - the darts dented the board with each easy throw and about 1 in every 5 darts actually stuck to the board. The Doinkit Darts however was a stark contrast to the one I returned last week. This one is very consistent in that the darts stick to the board more consistently than an actual dart board with pointed darts. The board does not dent with each throw either. There are slight scuff marks that you can see when you look carefully from the side but not at all obvious. Once a thrown dart is on the board, it stays on the board but can be bumped sideways if hit with another dart (minor issue as real darts can be dislodged as well as bounce out when thrown). The dart throws reasonably true, though I am sure a professional dart player may disagree. That said, if you are that much into darts, then you probably aren't even reading this review anyways! I give these a high rating and recommend for anyone who wants to have fun either for a social evening with friends or for the kids to play without fear of a dart in the eye or putting holes all over the house.

I was disappointed with the quality of the board. It’s plastic and hallow. However the darts are really good. Very magnetic. Great for little ones. I just hope the kids don’t break the board. All in all not worth the money.
