Advanced BHA Salicylic Acid Scrub Soap – Exfoliating Bar for Face & Body, Deep Pore Cleanser, Anti-Blemish, Skin Softening

This is the first bar to clear up my skin blemishes! It took a couple weeks to start seeing results but now my skin has never been this clear in my life! I use it 2-3 times a week and it smells pleasant but I don’t know what the scent is! I like the mild exfoliating grit in it and that it washes off without leaving residue on my skin and without drying out my skin either!

I actually am, admittedly, somewhat negligent to the skin on my face other than the occasional moisturizer application. As a male, who likes looking somewhat put together, I wanted something specifically for my face. I’ve tried scrubs and the occasional exfoliating gel, and I wasn’t ever too wild about any of them. Which, in turn, meant I didn’t buy them again even when I got inspired to do self care. I have the occasional acne flare (likely culprit is stress) and I find it simply repulsive. I needed something to combat that possibility while also just kind of accomplishing everything else those random gels and washes strived to do. I also lately have been on a bar soap kick. It’s less packaging, less shipping weight, smaller form factor for easy storage, and just a touch more eco friendly than the average facial cleanser. Enter this beautifully scented facial bar. Does it exfoliate? Maybe. It has bits and pieces inside it that are likely intended to exfoliate but I can never seem to get my face wet enough to scrub it with this soap before it’s ‘dry’. It doesn’t create a whole lot of suds (but I’m okay with that). It rinses cleanly. It does, somewhat, leave my skin a little dryer than some other products but it’s better than most in that regard. It has completely tamed the occasional acne flare and it smells glorious. I don’t use it every day, but I’m quite fond of it. I would buy it again when it runs out.

The soap is just overall a good choice! I am taking my skincare really seriously and this works! Along side my ordinary products! I am so glad I came across this soap while searching for facial soaps. Hands down a good purchase.

I honestly haven’t tried it yet but if you’re planning to use this for your body let me tell you it is TINY. I will admit I just assumed it would be the size of a regular bar of soap and didn’t pay attention to the details given (although I have no concept of what 2.8oz means in the world of bar soap anyway). My previous experience with exfoliating bar soap is with Marlowe, and those guys are hefty (7oz apparently), but I was looking to add the chemical exfoliants targeted at woman as well. The small size is disappointing, but maybe it will win me over in the shower🤞

Love this soap and using it for my face. It literally makes my face squeak that’s how good it is. I love that it has enough bits inside the bar to actually work its magic. I’ll definitely be buying it again.

I rarely review but I really love this soap for my KP- and acne! Finally reviewing after purchasing my 3rd bar- quick background: I have KP all over my body, often dry, itchy, and painful, I've tried countless products from organic to chemical, from expensive to prescription, nothing has helped. - tried this soap on a whim and was VERY SURPRISED!!! The exfoliating beads feel great on my itchy areas, lathers well, with a silky feeling, but also rinses clean. after showering with this soap only twice, I noticed a significant improvement in my KP, far less inflamed, and huge improvement in the redness. This soap leaves skin smooth, and hydrated feeling, in my opinion- not drying at all. FOR FACE: I tried it on my face despite other reviews, i have combo skin with acne, since using i have NO new cystic blemishes, and use this when i see new breakouts- it's helped clear them up quickly. (I use this one my face once every few days, at night, and moisturize after) the SCENT: is light, and a bit floral, it's not my favorite scent, so the best part- it does NOT linger after rinsing. CONS: 1. This soap is so slippery it's almost comical, it does make the shower floor a bit slippery- don't bust your bum! 2. It is a smaller bar and doesn't last super long (but with skin issues I'd rather have a fresh bar often- then a gross old one for too long). THE PRICE, totally worth it, i will keep buying and recommending this product!

I have KP on my arms and have for most of my life. I’ve tried different creams and soaps here and there and nothing really stuck. I finally get into Cerave’s SA soap for rough and bumpy skin right before the pandemic and that worked pretty well. Unfortunately, it became difficult to find that product anywhere online or in stores in my area so I started looking for other options. I found this and dare I say, it works better than Cerave. My skin is so soft and it even smells better than Cerave. It’s cheaper and I find that I prefer bar soaps better than liquid. I always feel like I’m wasting liquid soap when I’m in the shower but not with this. My skin changed within a week but I gave it a few more just to be sure. Once I knew that it made a difference, I started telling other friends and family who also suffer from KP to try this out. My mom became a fan after I told her and she stole my second bar of soap. That move made me order a few more. I do notice that my skin can feel a little dry after I completely dry off but I use certain lotions to help with that. Just something to keep in mind if you typically have dry skin. Other than that, this is a lovely soap for KP and it’s a pretty great price. I’ve still got a bottle and a half of Cerave that I will have to go through at some point but I’m not in a hurry to try.

Grazie alle recensioni positive, ho voluto testarlo e confermo che è un valido alleato nella skincare. Per chi ha la pelle sensibile o tendenzialmente secca in alcuni punti, consiglio un uso NON quotidiano perche secca ulteriormente la pelle. Dopo il lavaggio del viso con questo sapone, si ha proprio la sensazione di pelle pulita che pochissimi detergenti ad oggi utilizzati, hanno saputo regalarmi . A distanza di qualche settimana , confermo un miglioramento nella zona T , pori meno dilatati e pelle effettivamente piu luminosa . Consigliatissimo!
