These chips are FANTASTIC - but believe me, they have LOTS of flavor in re Salt & Vinegar, so they are not for the faint of heart!!! Will definitely buy again :-)

Please note if you are looking for a jalapeño genuine flavor chips these are not it. Ill explain below. These chips made my top 3 favorite types of jalapeño chips. 1) deep river zesty jalapeño chips.(really strong and authentic jalapeño taste but really spicy) 2) lays kettle cooked jalapeño chips. (mid spicy and mid authentic taste) 3) Zappa new Orleans kettle jalapeño chips. ( very light jalapeño taste, more kick than the lays) These are very good crunchy and less greasy than the lays version. They are airy but really well balanced flavor wise. I love them!

I have tried most of Zapp’s chips and this is one of 3 I return to. Not too hot for those with a sensitive palate but enough spice to liven your taste buds. The other 2 are Hotter than hot and Voodoo heat. If you like spicy chips these are for you.

The very first bag I pulled was stale, flavorless and nearly tossed the entire box. That's not a very fair thing, So I tried a few other bags and they are very good. I'm a huge fan of Salt and Vinegar chips (these are not). The relation here is their very heavy vinegar flavor. It is that same strong as my favorite S&V brand. But this does not have the sea salt. There is a medley of gentler flavors that are enhanced by the heavy vinegar. I was actually hoping for some New Orleans Cajun spice in these chips. The Voodoo in the name really enticed my desire to feel some Ghost pepper pain. That's my problem for not reading the ingredient lists. My GI can't handle super spicy like it used to. So there becomes this endless runs to wreck porcelain. The lack of spice in these chips saved the ceramic.

These chips are cooked in a blend of peanut and other oils. Peanut oil adds the best flavor to potato chips! The spicier chips have a unique flavor with varying degrees of heat. Way better than other chips ive tried. The regular chips are really good too. I like the indivual serving size, because otherwise I'd eat way too many. The only thing I would like to see different is to have cooked totaly in peanut oil. I know it would raise the price, but it would be worth it to me. I can't find chips cooked in just peanut oil anymore. Very sad. I have never seen this brand of chips in the stores I've shopped in, so I was happy to stumble across them on Amazon. I will order more!
