Just the best polish ever
This is the best stuff for any kind of metal or plastic. It not only cleans up rust from stainless steel and tarnish from copper and silver, it applies a nice finish that delays further tarnish for a good several months and shines antique bakelite and plastic. I use it on an antique silver trombone, brass pitcher, a copper tray, ornate metal scrollwork from an old record player, even on antique fountain pens.

It works to remove carbon and the dark haze from my pocket knives
This is the third product I've bought to clean my traditional pocket knife collection, which has a lot of carbon blades and brass bolsters, which carbonize and darke and need constant polishing to retain their original condition and appearance. I also recently used Case Knife Polish Paste (very mediocre) and Flitz Metal Polish (much better than the Case polish) and the comparing the three metal polishes, the Simichrome metal polish appears to stain less and is easier to rub off the knife than the Flitz and removes a lot of black carbon. This polish also has less of an odor than the Case and Flitz polish. I recommend this product, although all three of the polishes don't do a great job of removing scratches from the bolsters or blades.

PERFECT!!! A Bakelite Enthusiasts MUST HAVE!!
In the collectors world of Bakelite this poslishing cream is the best way to test for bakelite plastic! A small dab on the piece and clean off with a cotten swab and your bakelite confirmation is right there! Of course it is also the perfect polish for shining up metals too! Makes them shine like the sun!

Works great but still requires EFFORT
This stuff is great and shined up my vintage brass lamps nicely. I bought 3 different top brands as recommended on Reddit. This one came in second next to Flitz which is more expensive. I think it’s much easier to remove than brasso but it is a small tube. No odor. There is nothing fast about shining brass. It still took me 2-3 rounds of removing the layers of tarnish after neglecting them for over 4-5 years.

Works as always but it is too expensive for such a tiny amount.
Works well as it has done for many years but it sure is expensive! Not sure it is worth the price.

Polishes a variety of metals to a nice shine
I use simichrome on small stained glass lead. Lead in its natural state is dull gray and oxidizes quickly. PROS: * a little goes a looooong way (making it economical) * it's vey easy to use * cleans off oxidation from metal * polishes metal to a nice shine CON: * there is a very slight (but not unpleasant) odor I would recommend Simichrome to anyone who is looking to polish metal objects.

Best on the market better than flitz
Best on the market hands down! I have a tube I've had for many many years, as effect it belonged to my father and he gave it to me before he died it lasts that long it takes that little to make it work. Better than flitz hands down better. Expensive yes worth it absolutely just remember not to let it freeze I've got to go get mine out of the garage right now LOL
