Strong magnets that work great for my 3D printed projects
I'm working on a project for my airbrush booth, and am making magnetic exhaust hose couplers and these magnets are the perfect size and strength. I wanted black magnets instead of the typical silver These magnets are strong, very strong actually, when attached to each other, it takes a lot of pull to separate them. They have a nice epoxy coating that's not chipping off, seems very durable. The magnets dimensions are pretty spot on, they're also nice and thick. They come with adhesive pads that work very well. I do clean the surface of the magnet and the part I'm attaching it to with some alcohol first to ensure a clean surface. For the price, quality and strength, these magnets are great for my different projects and will continue to buy more as I use these up.

Strong Magnets That Made Car Camping Easy
I picked up these strong magnets for a simple idea—holding up a net around my car while camping—and they worked even better than expected. Setup was quick, and the magnets held the net securely in place, even with a light breeze. One night, I had the back open enjoying the fresh air without worrying about bugs getting in. The magnets stayed put the whole time and made everything feel more comfortable and organized. If you’re into car camping or need a reliable way to secure things on the go, these magnets are a great little tool to have.

Very strong! Saved me over $200
I have a 15 yr old range hood that has 2 SS baffle filters. The plastic latch on each deteriorated so the front end wouldn’t stay up. New baffle filters were $140 each. So I thought it was worth a try to see if magnets would hold them up. First, I confirmed magnet would stick to my stainless. Then I got the largest size that would fit, and put them inside the hood, along the hood/baffle frame. They were strong enough to keep the filter up pulling thru one layer of stainless (see screwdriver pic). I put two in the front edge, would have been plenty , but since I had 12, I then put another on the inside edge, so used 3 per filter. Definately 3 was overkill, but don’t need the filters crashing down on my induction cooktop. Warning: these are STRONG magnets so when you seperate them- keep them 12” away from each other or they will slam back together. I chipped one corner learning this, but still used it as the magnet was hidden. ALSO, if you separate from each other- and don’t use them all, KEEP THE SPACERS BETWEEN THEM. If you don’t, they will be very difficult to seperate. Yeah, they are that strong. Given the size and weight, they are far stronger than imagined. And saved me $200 by not having to buy new baffle filters.

Great product but Rey can be brittle
We use these to hold filters on all our air intakes to our furnace. Some have snapped into two pieces but we can still use.

As Described!! Black Magnets for Metal Surfaces
Pros: These are slightly thicker than the .3 versions and I find them sturdier and yet still easy to slide one over to separate from the pack provided you do it with the plastic divider at the same time. I use them to attach a screen to my apartment black metal storm door that has a deadbolt lock meant to keep intruders out and it does a good job of that. However, its' scroll design does nothing to keep flies, gnats, or spiders from entering so I purchased a screen netting and attached it with these magnets every few inches. It works well enough but because the storm door itself doesn't fit snugly on the top or bottom threshold it's not foolproof. Sure does help a lot though, especially whenever I'm cooking in the summer and must leave the front door open for fresh air! I'm willing to pay more for the black ones because it looks a lot better when everything matches or blends in with the decor. Con: These last better than the plain steel versions, but rust will still eat any finish that's painted on magnets in about a year where I live. It's the salt air and constant moisture that comes in off the ocean that is hard on both cars, metal outdoor furniture and that's just the way coastal weather is, not the fault of the products. Aluminum and stainless steel do better, but are also more expensive so you have to decide what you think is best for your situation. They are exactly as described, adhere well to most things, and although they come with an adhesive strip for when you don't have metal to attach them, I've never used them for that purpose. Can't comment on it because I rent and we're not allowed to damage the wall with adhesives or nails. Caution: Not for people that have pacemakers because it may interfere with the safe operation of them. I have no idea how strong magnets are that affect pacemakers, but it would be helpful if the seller and/or manufacturers could comment on that.

Strong but fragile
These magnets are very strong. But when I held one of these magnets over my “snake egg” magnet and allowed it to jump up to this magnet, it broke the magnet. I’m not removing stars for that, because they are thin, and I don’t know if this is standard fragility for any magnet this size. I have seen reviews for large magnets that have broken when dropped. Maybe they need to be handled with extreme caution. I will say that I found it interesting when I attempted to piece together the broken halves, they would no longer fit back together. They became immediate polar opposites as soon as they broke up…like a bitter divorce. They still cling to other magnets, but not the ends where they snapped. Knowing this bit of information, it makes sense that if the magnet has a flaw and begins to break, it will snap. I bought these to add to a magnet game my sister had. Instead of using a provided rope, we used a spare top to a plastic container and placed these pieces under the top to make the game more interesting. They were smaller than I expected, but I will say I had a chance to drag out my ruler and compare it with the dimensions on the description. It’s not like they gave erroneous dimensions in the description. So for what I paid, and the fragility of magnets in general, I have no reason to reduce stars based on my ignorance. Just be careful when you use them. If you drop them or let them snap to another magnet, there’s a great chance they will break. So be careful. One thing I did notice on these magnets is that one or two have pits or indentations in the edges. But again, the magnet did the job I intended, and I wasn’t entering them in a fashion show, so I won’t be removing stars. I mention these things so perhaps you’ll buy these with a bit more awareness than I had; and you will handle them with more care. Enjoy!

Strong and brittle- NOT for true stainless steel
As a magnet, they are very strong but VERY brittle- do not drop them. As far as sticking to true stainless steel, they do NOT work. I threw them in my toolbox to attract small drill bits.

Strong and value
Very strong magnets, good value

Very brittle if they allowed to hit each other
Very powerful for their size. Used half of one to hold my gate closed / stop it rattling in windy weather.

As I wanted
As can be seen in the photo I used them to keep my bits visible and little bit more organized, it keeps them afloat but the bigger items are not staying in their location because the wood in between weakens the flux. So as you can see I put 2 visible to hang bigger parts. I am giving these 5 stars because it was whatever I was expecting. And because I read the reviews before purchase I wanted to clear somethings, These are 3 mm thick bars, you need to be careful to separate them from each other, because the material can break easily, especially these thin ones. Neodymium is not a strong material, coating keeps it together. If you need extra strong you need to go with 5mm thick ones.

Excellent magnets
As described, magnets are very powerful despite their small size. They come packaged with small dividers between them so they are easier to separate. They are also priced well. Would buy again
