Ink cartridge still has ink, faded printouts

The print head breaks making the printer worthless usually corresponding just past warranty expiration. Dell recommends buying a new printer when the print head breaks since the price to fix it exceeds the worth. I will never buy a Dell printer again. Your fade was first signs of print head failure.

what kind of power cord does it use?

Answer: I believe it is just a regular cord plugged in the back. If there are any other power cord that should be used with the printer, I am not certain what it is, please check with manufacturer. https://www.amazon.com/Dell-All-in-One-Wireless-Printer-V313W/dp/B00367GPC6

Does this print double sided?

I no longer own this printer and never printed 2-sided documents on it, so I can't answer you question. I bought an Epson Workforce printer because this dell went through ink TOOOOOO quickly.

Is this printer compatible with a Mac computer?

I wouldn't know about that. But as an owner of one of these, my advice is to look for something else. The printer cartridges are not available at any retail outlet and must be ordered from Dell. The scanning software is basic and will not do any "creative" scanning that you may wish to do. I put mine back in the box years ago and haven't thought about it since. I never bought another printer but did buy a "real" scanner from Epson. Keep shopping is my best answer.Edit: After posting my answer, now I see the price they are asking for this. I got mine for $40 from Dell when I bought a new Windows 7 machine. $314.00 is ridiculous. I'll let you have mine for what I paid for it!
