Is there anything else in this besides 100% Pure Aloe Vera? Any yucky chemicals?

Yes there is. Here is a list from the back of the bottle: Aloe vera gel, triethanolamine, tocopheryl acetate, carbomer, tetrasodium edta, dmdm hydantoin ( aka formadehyde), diazolidinyl urea. There is an asterisk on the front of the bottle where is says 100% GEL. The chemicals are on the back of the bottle, of course there is no picture provided of that.

Wasn't this product in the news to have zero aloe vera in it?

I didn't see that on the news, but it has only 8 ingredients. Aloe Vera is listed first, meaning it is the largest percentage of the product. It has worked perfectly for many skin issues. I would, and have, recommended it to friends & family. I have ordered it multiple times. I suggest you give it a try. It is a huge 24oz. bottle at a reasonable price. AND it contains NO ALCOHOL!! I always keep a spare on the shelf so I never run out.

Dries out my oily skin

I always buy this at Walmart but it has been sold out as of lately due to the pandemic. It’s a lot cheaper at Walmart but I was willing to pay the difference because it’s a crucial part of my skincare routine. I wouldn’t say this is a moisturizing product at all, I personally have very oily skin and it dries up my skin and makes it flakey. I use it to prevent acne. Overall good product but not a good moisturizer, probably due to the preservatives and added ingredients
