Faulty oven and terrible technical support from Leisure Customer Services
I have owned the LeisureCuisineMaster range for 4 years and would like to provide a long term review on the product. We bought the range when we replaced our kitchen and were initially very pleased with it, as initially it appeared to performed well and looked good. However, be warned that the oven element has burnt out every year since ( we don't use the oven excessively) and it is inconvenient to not have an oven i and the cost of replacement of the oven heating element is not cheap. It is clear that the knobs are not well made as they have deteriorated due to heat from the oven to the point where they look shabby however, cost of replacements on the Leisure website is extortionate. As the stove cost quite a lot to purchase originally, I contacted Kevin at Leisure Customer Services and then emailed several times to try to resolve this. I am disappointed to write here that the the information he originally provided was wrong (references for the spare parts) and they are not interested in providing any kind of help or technical assistance to try and resolve this problem. Kevin was not willing to assist further or pass on my enquiry to their technical service team to see if this could be fixed. So it seems that we are destined to continue to have the inconvenience of an oven that does not work whilst waiting for a service engineer to replace the heating element at some considerable costs. The stove/range looked ideal when we purchased it but would like others to be aware of our experience and poor service support Leisure provides so that they can take this into account when they are looking at their products. We would not have purchased a Leisure stove if we had known this.
