I tried a few different braces for my wrist sprain, one I found at the drugstore, which was returned the very next day, this Freetoo brace and a Copperfit brace. I alternated wearing them for a full day at home and a full day at work each. The drugstore branded brace (from CVS) had a little thumb sleve area without trim, but left my thumb area constricted and loss of circulation, along with three straps in alternating directions that was kind of a chore to adjust. The Freetoo brace is a much more comfortable brace than any of the others that I tried. The support was great and it is easy to put on, adjust and take off quickly. The only drawback that I had were in the usable area of the palm. I am a jeweler who uses small tools in my hand all day, and between this one and the Copperfit brace, the Copperfit had a more open and thus more usable palm area. Thus, I kept the Copperfit because work use is critical factor for me . That said, the Freetoo brace is more comfortable, really just because the Copperfit brace has a seam inside that would start to itch a little bit. The Freetoo brace had no such issue, and I had no problem wearing it all day. I just had to deal with trying to tuck my tools inside the palm of the brace a bit while working with them, which was a slight annoyance. Not enough to take away a star though, and if comfort and support were the main factors, the Freetoo brace would have won over the Copperfit. Both have easy to adjust double straps, are well stitched and built to last.

I have to preface this review by saying that I bought several things for my CTS at the same time as a pair of these. While I am always aware of my CTS, horseback riding a few weeks ago caused a major flare up, and since then, with my first sip of coffee, I've taken 600-800mg of ibuprofen, even when I wear wrist braces to sleep, and then every 5-6 hours throughout the day. I'm a couple of hours into today after using these, and have not yet felt the need to take anything, though my CTS is so bad, I do feel a slight tingling in my hands as I write this. But, I can write this, and the tingling is just that, my hands are not on fire. I was hesitant to spend this amount of money on wrist braces, but I really wanted something that I could wear during the day, or, at least have some use of my hands when I wear them at night. These meet both of those needs. I won't say that I can do everything I could if I didn't have braces on, but because these are not bulky and are sized to fit my wrist, I have greater freedom than other, 'one-size' or non-lateral braces I've used. One of my biggest issues with past braces has been the metal rod in the bottom which these have, but it is not bothersome at all, they're not too wide, and my hand fits neatly into them. The rod on the top of the brace is flexible, and I don't feel it at all when I wear these. Other reviews mentioned the velcro not being strong enough, I'd say the opposite, the velcro holds very well. Another review mentioned the big thumb whole - While I can agree the thumb hole is big, I can rearrange my hand in the brace to a point where it's not bothersome at all. They are soft and breathable. Because I also picked up a rollerball massager for my forearms, a TENS unit, and hand/wrist exercisers at the same time as these, plus I've been doing nerve glide exercises the last few days, I can't say with certainty that all the relief I feel is because of these. But, I have little doubt these are a big part of it, as the exercises will take time to build strength, and the TENS + massage roller will as well, because as of this morning my forearms are still full of knots.

The brace is quite comfortable and supports my wrist well enough to prevent pain. Also a good price. Downside (explaining why I didn't give 5 stars): I ordered one previously and the decorative rubber with the product name came loose so, thinking it was unusual, had it replaced. This one did exactly the same thing. I just pulled the whole thing off. Not as attractive, but it does the job.)

Nice support and fit. Fabric is good. People comment on the stylishness and color. The metal support fit perfectly in this small glove so I think attention was paid to proportions. I had one previously that seemed to be made for a larger, longer hand. I makes a big difference in support and comfort. I have found the right one I ordered earlier very helpful and decided to get one for the left which is less of a problem but thought wearing it as needed for support keying on the computer and at night might keep problems from developing. These are very comfortable for sleeping unlike heavier longer ones I had years ago when problems first developed.

The fit is great and it helps my carpal tunnel pain. I need to order another one for my right hand
