This phone is miles ahead of what I experienced with the iPhone in terms of performance, software and battery life. The Snapdragon 8 Elite is extremely well optimised. Coming from a OnePlus 12R with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the 13s feels noticeably more solid and responsive in everyday use. Everything is snappy, apps open instantly and it handles pretty much anything you throw at it without breaking a sweat.The main camera is also much better than I expected based on what I had heard online. It is genuinely a good camera for everyday use. One thing I noticed is that when taking portraits, it switches to the telephoto camera rather than taking the portrait from the main sensor, also the image quality is blurry with it (I think it lacks OIS on telephoto but has EIS) but post processing does correct it.OxygenOS is excellent and thankfully there is practically no bloatware. The thermals have also been impressive so far. I didn't notice any excessive heating during the initial setup or while charging. Standby optimisation is also very good, with barely any noticeable battery drain when the screen is off.What impresses me most is that OnePlus has managed to pack all of this into such a comfortable and compact phone. That is probably my favourite thing about the 13s.If you compare it with phones in a similar price segment, such as the Samsung S26 or Google Pixel 10, those phones may have an advantage in camera quality. However, the 13s gives you things that matter a lot in day-to-day use, like a much bigger battery and incredibly fast charging.At around ₹50,000 with offers, I think this phone is absolutely worth the price. The combination of flagship performance, excellent battery life, fast charging, clean software and a compact design makes it very difficult to beat for the money. In terms of overall value, I don't think many phones come close to the OnePlus 13s right now

Wanted to buy iphone 17, but changed my mind. After a lot of thoughts and suffering from battery and space constraints in 2 iPhones, I decided to go back to android. Pixel 10 is comparable but this beast is cheaper I tell you. Get it with credit card offers!Camera: photo colour is a bit unrealistic and high on perfection but everything else from battery to customisation is a huge plus here.Battery is the biggest flex of this device. I only charge once a day, that too partially and used social media for hours. Still didn't go below 40% for the day (and night).I know the glass effect of iOS 26 is a killer but the range of customisation in android has been forever there and it's only getting better with time. I have no regrets! Only regret is that I couldn't transfer whatsapp message to this phone. Whatsapp should really work on transferability!! Or OnePlus should.The colour, the finish, the camera bump. Everything is sleek and gives a premium feel. Especially for iphone users, you got nothing to lose. Message app can really be worked on. iMessage was better at segregating.Size fit well for both small or big hand sizes. Heating isn't a big concern here. It gets mildly hot when charging but manual does recommend you to charge in a well ventilated area. Played some games for 2-3 hrs. But still found battery drainage or heating is not huge.Haven't tested it's durability because haven't dropped it yet, thanks to good quality rubber cover (see pic) that comes with the phone. And unlike samsung or apple, they do send the huge 80W charger (pic attached) with it. 😍😍 What else would one ask for? More colours maybe.

For my whole phone-using life (except the Nokia days) I have been using huge slab phones which are definitely not suitable for one handed use. So moving to 13s was a change.I immediately loved the compactness. Since I moved 80% of my movie/tv watching to bigger screens, I just needed a daily phone and this has been great for all that.Been using it for almost one year. Loving the battery life, loving the performance - the phone is quick and performance is buttery smooth. No hanging..yet.The only con of this phone is the camera....and it's a big one.I was not much of a phone photographer or an Instagrammar, even then I find that I miss that ultrawide lens a lot. It's a big con that this doesn't have it. On top of that, OnePlus photo processing is...nuts. The night photos are super over processed and AI keeps adding light where there was very little. Overall, the output can be a bit strange.Also if you are buying, keep in mind the external news about OnePlus shutting down (or not) and it's consequences.Overall, it was good buy so far.

If you are looking for a Android compact Phone no look further. Moving from Pixel 7 to this phone felt like a big upgrade in terms of speed, battery life, display quality. With moderate to heavy use, I am able to use this phone for a day without having to charge while being in traffic for 3+ hrs. I wouldn't recommend this phone to someone who is looking for a good camera phone though. The camera is bad relative to other camera phones in the market. But if you are looking for an all rounder, go for it.
