Does this hold up in the summer heat ?

It did for me last summer, but it doesn’t get super hot (>90-95F) or humid where I live.

It says unscented, but i read on mine, in the ingredients list on the back, that is contains fragrance (parfum). what is going on?

I'm not sure. Mine (received some time last year) doesn't contain any fragrance or parfum. Perhaps someone packed the wrong thing (wrong item) or the company labeled it incorrectly? If it says unscented sometimes companies add a masking fragrance. It sounds like you're looking for fragrance free (it's tricky! there's a difference sometimes). I double checked mine and it's the same as pictured in this listing including same UPC code. Perhaps your best bet is to call 1-800-258 DIAL and speak to them.
