Bought this to replace previous threshold which was eleven year old and beginning to let water through the screw fixings. Easy to cut and fix, albeit no instructions came with it. The door seal needs to be cut half an inch long at each end to allow for the door frame rebate to seal against the closed door. Also be careful not to block the drainage hole whilst applying the mastic seal underneath, most importantly remember to seal the screws with mastic to avoid water leaking into the wooden threshold. Original one last eleven years , hoping for repeat performance.

Sturdy and well-made but like others who have reviewed this item, I also hade problems with fitting it. Thinking it would simply be a case of removing the existing one and replacing turned out not to be as the grooves on the underside were set out completely differently, resulting in having to chisel out a section of the wooden door frame. As with most problems it was sortable but not without unwanted time and effort. I would recommend removing your existing door sill and comparing against the photos of the new one before purchasing.

Excellent dose the job

We live in an old 1930s house with the original front door. Before installing this we would get very strong drafts coming from under the door. After installing these are now gone making the hallway much warmer! We had to cut it down to fit the door, which was very easy. Install was super easy, just make sure you measure the gap at the bottom of the door before ordering, as the tolerances are quite narrow with the seal.

Arrived quickly. As described by seller. Good quality. Unfortunately I have a wheelchair friendly door and it was a fraction too deep so unable to use. But I would recommend.

Ich hab meine Hoftür damit nachgerüstet. Eine super Sache, dichtet genau wie an meiner neuen Haustür vollständig ab. Ältere Türen, die völlig in Ordnung sind, können mit der Türschwelle ergänzt werden und müssen nicht gegen neue Türen ausgetauscht werden. Das ist nachhaltig, gleichzeitig kostengünstig und spart Energiekosten. Tolle Lösung, Danke!

Très bon produit et envoie protéger

installé sur ma porte d'entrée, après avoir refait le carrelage et l'isolation du sol avec un fermacell, j'ai dû couper ma porte. Ce système m'a permis de refaire l'étanchéité. C'est esthétique, solide et facile à poser
