Make one handed opening easier
This is a great quality thumb stud. I have several that I have attached to my Buck 110 and 112 knives. They make it a lot easier to open the knives one handed. They also look pretty good on the knives.

This Thumb Stud Works!
I received a Benchmade Mini-Taggedout knife as a gift, but I had trouble using the slit on the top of the blade to open it, so I installed a brass Kwik Thumb Stud. Well, the knife looks garish enough with its orange handles, and the brass thumb stud made it look like a Mardi Gras throw, so I ordered a stainless steel Kwik thumb stud and installed that on the Benchmade. Then I installed the brass one on a 40+ year-old Gerber LST knife that was my workplace EDC back in the day. Now I can open the LST with one hand! It was easy to install both studs, and the studs stay put. Opening the knives now is so much easier. BTW, just for fun, I tried slipping the brass stud through the slit of the Benchmade blade and installing it upside-down. It fit that way, too, but I didn't like the aesthetics of it as much.

Looks Factory!
These simple thumb studs are perfect for knives that you’d otherwise have to use two hands to open. I installed this onto my Buck 110. The brass patinas well and matches the bolsters on the Buck as if it were meant to be there.

Great Idea, Solid Execution
I've always hated set screws. They always seemed like a solution that was doomed to fail from the start, like wall anchors. But, man, does it work here. I threw this little gadget on my Buck 110 and it is going nowhere. It mounts just about anywhere on the bottom half of the blade and locks up securely. It does snag a bit with my custom cross draw leather holster, but not so badly that it is show-stopping. If you use the factory leather holster, you should have no issues. With this baby installed, opening one-handed is a lot easier. The finish on the stud is a nice bright brass, and it matches the 110's bolsters so well that my lady thought it was an original part of the knife, not an add on. That's saying a lot for something like this. As a bonus, it seems to work on several other knives as well. I tried it on my Browning 111C and it worked quite well. It should do euallly well for other 110-inspired folders, provided the blade thickness is about the same. If you're thinking of buying this, save yourself some time and just buy it. You won't regret it.

Great fit on a Buck Spitfire
Installed on a Buck 722 Spitfire allowing much easier 1 handed opening. Fits inverted in the thumb cutout perfectly. I used a drop of blue loctite on the threads. I highly recommend this on a Spitfire.

Excellent thumb studs
I'm getting old and like to keep things original and hesitated to put a thumb stud on my Buck 110. I finally decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. What a difference to now be able to open my Buck 110 with one hand!

Great Addition for Buck 110
Nicely made and visually matches a Buck 110. Does what it should, but keep in mind the Buck has a powerful lock intended to keep it from closing, not to make for easy opening. It doesn’t flick open effortlessly like my Axis lock Benchmades or liner locked Zero Tolerance. Regardless, it’s a cool way to make a classic more functional.

Works for QSP Workers Knife!
Used this on my Workers knife because it lacks a thumbstud and this fits perfectly and allows me to open it up with one hand now. Purple or Blue Loctite recommended so you don't lose your investment!
