The Goody Ouchless Forever Polybands work really well for small ponytails, braids, and kids’ hairstyles. These are my favorite hair ties for my daughter’s hairstyles. Unlike the rubber bands I remember from my childhood (you know, the kind that we used on our braces?) these hold up. They stretch nicely and I always use two at a time to make them easier to remove and prevent breakage. I give them a little stretch before putting them in to make them more pliable. Great for braids, little ponytails and all the hairstyles! Both my daughter have pretty thin, fine hair, so these work perfectly.

These elastic bands are weirdly stiff and hard to stretch. As an adult, it's fine -I can break them in as silly as that is. But I wouldn't buy these for doing a child's hair- it would be so annoying.
