Taste good, but you really have to mix it up before you use it

I usually buy organic raw nut butters from Amazon, and I thought I would try a different brand. This is the most disgusting nut butter I have ever ordered! Rancid and bitter, with a HORRID aftertaste. Like car oil smells! Very poor quality for the price. The separation factor is in between, with oil separating even after mixed fully; runny like pancake batter (even after i chilled it). The creamy texture is really just super oily even upon mixing. It claims clean ingredients. I have not ever tasted walnuts this icky. But it tastes like rancid, old petrol. Maybe I received a package that sat in a warehouse in inappropriate conditions for too long, but this stuff is disgusting. I will not ever purchase again!

Oh my goodness, this is so good! I'm eating it right now with flax seeds in yogurt (pictured). I love how this is organic walnuts with nothing else and is delicious. One thing you should know is when you first open it, it needs to be stirred, probably for about 20 minutes to get that silky smooth consistency, but it's so worth it. Will buy again.

Very nutty taste, little oily, have to mix it well.

Tasted amazing, but it's very oily. In fact, the oil leeched out because it was shipped on its side. I highly recommend thoroughly stirring and immediately placing in the freezer. It will NOT solidify. (I use this process with natural peanut butter, to keep it from separating and keeping a good consistency, but it goes into the fridge after freezing solid.... Walnut butter does NOT solidify!) Placing in the freezer right after stirring will keep the contents together and in a good, spreadable consistency. This was EXACTLY what I wanted, just a pure walnut butter without anything else in it. Other brands put other nuts or stuff in it to make it more manageable or for taste. These people don't do that. I wanted walnuts, and walnuts is what I got! 🙂 It was a nice treat! I would definitely buy again.

Way too oily...need a spoon to put on toast

This walnut butter was recommended by our allergist as a way to help prevent tree nut allergies for my daughter. From that standpoint, it did what we needed it to do. My daughter didn’t mind eating it when mixed into bananas, which made it manageable to serve. However, the taste was not pleasant to me at all—it has a very strong, raw flavor that I personally couldn’t enjoy. On top of that, it’s quite expensive for the amount you get, which makes it hard to justify long term. While it may be helpful for allergy exposure purposes, I wouldn’t purchase it again unless specifically advised, and it’s definitely not something I’d eat on its own.
