Great so far
I have just given this wheelchair its first outing. It arrived packed inside a box wrapped in tape that felt like a heavy suitcase. I was relieved to find that the wheelchair could be rolled out of the box easily, so no need to lift it out. The parts can be assembled easily, which is just as well, since the instructions are minimal. Nothing in the instructions tells you what to do with the tyres, but there are yellow stickers (see first photo). The tyres arrived deflated, so you will need a good bicycle pump. I read other reviews criticising the quality of the inner tubes, and I agree they are hard to inflate because there is nothing to stop the valve pushing into the tyre when you try to fit the pump. I solved the problem by pressing on the tyre at the same time. Although the stickers tell you to inflate to at least 40psi the tyres themselves (second photo) say they the standard pressure is 350kpa (which translates as 50psi). I inflated them to 50psi. I noticed the tyres don't hold their pressure for very long, and after a few days they were down to 30psi and I needed to pump them up again. I wouldn't want to venture out with this wheelchair without carrying spare inner tubes. The tyres say they take 24x1.95 inner tubes (see 3rd photo) and a bicycle shop recommended the tubes shown in the 4th photo. So, as I mentioned, I have just given this wheelchair its first outing. I travelled to a nearby bird reserve. The wheelchair easily folded into the boot of my VW Golf (see 5th photo), although I needed to detach the wheels. I pushed my wife through wet grass, along a bumpy dirt track, through a woodland path and into a bird hide. She reported a comfortable ride most of the way. The wheelchair easily made the tight 180 degree turn needed to enter the hide. The lap belt was helpful at keeping her secure when we negotiated the bumps and potholes. I found the attendant brakes useful but I only used them as a last resort when going downhill. The disadvantage of having knobbly all terrain tyres is that the brakes tend to judder when they touch the tyres. After visiting the bird hide we set off down the coastal cycle path. The only time my wife reported she was uncomfortable was when we crossed a wooden bridge, and the regular slats made the chair bounce, but we made it across by inching the chair slowly forward. After the outing, I discovered that you need to disengage the brakes before detaching the wheels. (I'll remember next time, but it would have been useful to have more advice in the instructions.) Despite the issues with the instructions and the inner tube, I'm still giving this wheelchair 5 stars because it performed superbly along off road tracks, it is easy to transport and light enough to load and unload into a car. Hello, it's me again. I thought you would like to know I have taken this wheelchair through the trails at Sherwood Forest. It was able to take the dirt trails with ease. We even managed to deviate off the trail and stop in a few forest clearings. The worst part was a gravel track which was very heavy going. On one of the trails we passed through mud which stuck to the wheel and rubbed on the left hand brake. It looks like there are screws to adjust that brake, but no instructions how to do it. Still a great wheelchair, though. My wife saw parts of the forest that would otherwise have been inaccessible to her.

Good quality chair
I have had this one year now so let’s get into it. It's a well made all terrain wheelchair, which is what I required for going over rough ground and grass areas. It's fairly lightweight 15kilos, which is what it weighted in at which is 33Lbs. That's nor really light when you add in your own weight, which in my case is 71Kilos, 156Lbs, that's 190Lbs almost, that's a lot to push, especially up hill. The wheelchair has poor quality inner tubes fitted and need replacing with better quality as they loose pressure over a couple of days, and it's not poor valves. My chair seems to vere to the left, only slightly but not sure what is causing it. Some of the allen key bolts did come loose over a short time, but a spot of super glue fixed that, and yes it will crack of if you need to undo the bolts. The tyres are a good make and the seat pad was adequate, but I replaced it with a contoured seat cushion, which is much more comfortable on my hips. So overall iot has done well over the last year and has covered many miles in my home town and in Wales, so yes I would recommend it, just buy some better inner tubes.

Nice wheelchair
Bought for my son, seems sturdy enough for a lightweight wheelchair. A couple of small dislikes, when using the brakes there is a grating on the wheels ( haven’t had chance to adjust them yet, so could possibly be rectified) and the footrests can’t be fixed into the outward position when getting out the chair. Other than that, seems fine and travels well over uneven ground. Well pleased with our purchase.

Great pneumatic wheels.
Great on the Scottish pavements (full of potholes, lumps and bumps). Also easy dismantling.

Unfit for purpose due to instability
Not fit for purpose. Overbalances backwards too easily, fractured sternum as a result and spent 6 weeks in hospital/rehabilitation unit.

You need to be good with a screwdriver
Bought this in January, 9 months ago... You know that old proverb about the broom? Well I'm not sure we can class today's wheelchair as the same wheelchair we bought in January. Various bits have been replaced and mended and we don't leave home without an Allen key. It started to come apart within a few weeks of light use and now needs repair on about a monthly basis. Thankfully my husband is an engineer. On the positive side it looks ok, the seat is fairly comfy, and it's reasonably light and easy for an able bodied person to get in and out of the car boot. It is good on tarmac, and can just about go 'off road' like the canal tow path, but even then it struggles. It's not going to be going up any mountain paths, that's for sure.

Great wheelchair
Perfect chair, comfortable and well made. Easy for my daughter to push and can also be self pushed, comes assembled but will need a pump to pump up tyres. Overall an amazing sturdy wheelchair

High Quality Product
My mum received this today and loves the quality of the wheelchair. The large wheels provide excellent support and manoeuvrability, unlike the indoor types with smaller wheels. Excellent product and prompt delivery. Thank you!

Really great chair! Needs better tire tubes.
I'm giving this a 5 star review despite one large product defect. The defect can be over-come, and the company was so communicative and helpful, that they deserve the 5 stars. First the bad: the tubes in these tires are garbage. I read reviews that also said this before I bought the chair, and I intended to purchase new tubes ahead of time, but just didn't have the time to do that before my dad needed the chair. When you're taking care of someone who needs a wheelchair, it's important that it works 100% of the time. I wound up needing to transport my dad on this on completely flat tires. I took the tires to a bicycle shop and they replaced the original tubes. The company reimbursed me for this and we've had no troubles with the tires since. The tires came deflated. My brother in law pumped them up, but they quicky deflated again, one side more significantly than the other. I kept trying to pump them up to the correct pressure, but they just wouldn't persist. As the attached video shows, the nozzle/valve pushed into the tire at that point, and it was really difficult to hold it steady and attach a pump to inflate them. Attached also is a picture of the new tubes the bike shop installed. These have a metal nozzle/valve (though I'm not sure that's necessary), but they also have like a metal ring/nut on top that keeps the nozzle above the tire. The person installing these told me that might help. I have no idea whether these types of tubes are necessary, but I can tell you they are working well. Like I said, the company who sells these has been really great in their communication, but I would suggest they pass along the strong suggestion to source higher quality tubes. If they pay only $10 more for dependable tubes it would be worth it, and I'm sure people would pay a few dollars more for better quality. Now for the good stuff. I bought the 20" wide seat, because my dad is 206 lbs. It's a great size chair for him. The seat height is also great, which was one of the big selling points for me. So many of these chairs have a low seat. Elderly people have trouble standing from a low seat, so I'm not sure why all wheel chairs don't have a higher seat like this. The chair is comfortable to sit in. My dad has sat in it for hours on the patio, and hasn't asked to move to one of the patio chairs instead, so it's clearly comfortable. My dad can maneuver himself easily in this chair. We've taken it out on a few outdoor paths of dirt/wood/bumpy asphalt/crushed stone.. and it maneuvers very well. It is a lightweight chair, so you have to be mindful of that and not tip it. (you know, I wouldn't do downhill races with it..) But the light weight is a plus too as it's easy to lift into a trunk. I'm a 51 year old woman and I have no issue at all lifting it. My 75 year old mom lifted it into the trunk the other day and I didn't even notice her doing it, so it clearly wasn't a strain for her. We take off the foot rests to get it into the car but leave the wheels on. This is just a really well designed chair, certainly for what we are using it for. I recommend it, though I would definitely plan to replace the wheel tubes before you use it. Oh, another plus - they sell a lot of replacement parts. I can see down the line we might want a new seat cushion, etc. It seems that you can buy all replacement parts, so that's sure to be a plus as well.

GREAT VALUE FOR PRICE
most ergonomic wheelchair i have used, supports back at correct angle so i can sit in it all day without back getting sore - i got this as a multiuse chair, use it at my desk for computer and building with lego, fits desk perfect with the fold down armrests - i can still stand and walk a little so use it sort of like a walker when i can stand and a wheelchair when i cant , light enough to push around like a walker without trouble - it sturdy enough but for the price i didnt expect it to be heavy duty - quality is good for the price and i dont expect any problems, but i wouldnt do any major "off road" stuff with it - some have commented on tire tubes not good but mine has no problem at all and tires and tubes installed correctly and inflated enough to use out of the box

Glides with no effort and folds up easily for trunk
My mother is 98 lbs, I wanted this chair for outdoor use on paved paths and sidewalks. I used it for the first time on a paved path with some holes and dips. I’m over the top impressed, the chair did not feel as though it was unsteady going over bumps and holes in the least. My mother did not want a chair so we called it a bike chair and she learned quickly to love it, she said how comfortable it is. The wheels have easy to use locks and the way it glides with no effort was amazing. I also like the light weight, easy to take the foot steps off and fold up for my trunk. I’m so happy with this chair and excited for mare adventures to come. I purchased a small back pack for the back and bam! What fun this will be to finally be able to take my mother places! No regrets.

Freedom to move about ~ just change the inner tubes!
If it wasn't for this wheelchair I would have been unable to go with my family on so many adventures and daily outings that my family has always done together throughout the years. This wheelchair has given me the ability to get back out into the world again, and there's no price tag on that freedom. What we thought possible with a regular standard wheelchair just wasn't. They're great for flat, perfectly smooth hallways, but anything else, it's like putting an adult in a stroller and telling them to hold on!! We quickly found out how impossible it was to get me around in the standard wheelchairs without getting hung up on everything from gravel, lawns, stuck in potholes, etc.. all with me feeling every single rock, divit, and bump underneath and ending up in agony for weeks afterward. I did a lot of reading and comparing on available wheelchairs and talked with my doctors about what they recommended. While they recommended a power chair, it just wasn't a feasible option for me, so the hunt was on. I needed a chair that was relatively lightweight, folded flat, easy to break down, sturdy enough to tackle outdoor activities while remaining stable with me in it, and something that fits my small frame. The fenetic lightweight folding wheelchair for traveling ended up ticking every box. My mom and children are all able to take me to apts and "out on the town" and know that they can lift the chair in/out of a vehicle without issues. I do use an extra thick cushion for my seat in addition to their seat as there isn't enough padding for me. The only thing I have to say somewhat negatively/cautionary towards this wheelchair is that when you first receive it, you REALLY should replace the two inner tubes that come within the tires. Otherwise, you may find yourself stuck in the middle of nowhere with a flat and scrambling to locate the nearest bike shop/chain store, hoping that they have your size tube in stock. One option that this chair has that I was like, huh, okay.. adjustable arm wrests. Now, in all honesty, when I first got the chair and saw that the arms could adjust in height, I didn't really think much about it. However, this has to be one of my many favorite options with this chair. It's made transferring me so much easier on everyone. They pull my chair up side to side with the exam chair and drop the arm wrest. Then they are able to just slide me over instead of having to get me up and outta my chair. If I'm out for a while and I start feeling the tension growing in my shoulders, I can change the height of my arm wrests and avoid further muscle fatigue and pain. Simple fix. Whoever designed this wheelchair really put a lot of thought into even the smallest of details. As a user of this chair, it is appreciated and noticed.
