Bought this product to use in my aquaponics. I had previously purchased this company's instructions on building a aquaponic system. The challenge I had was this system is one size smaller than the size of the holes they told us to drill in the IBS unit. Other than that it works great after I resealed the oversized hole.

One thing, is if you fill with too low of a flow of water, the siphon will never open up and drain. We thought we could just use a really low flow to save on electricity, and only try and fill it about once an hour. We ended up buying an on / off adjustable interval timer with a much higher flow that fills the tank in 4 minutes, where the old pump took about an hour to fill. So, the interval timer is set to 4 1/2 minutes on, 60 minutes off. - Then, everything worked great, and probably a much better solution in the end, as i believe that slow pump would have probably clogged... The seller was helpful and customized our unit for our height needs and sent out documentation that helped with setup. Kudos, and much appreciated in this robot customer service era!

This took more work than it should have to install. The threading between the siphon and the drain pipe needs to be longer so that it can pass through the bottom of the box and still have enough thread sticking out to join the pieces. So I had to use a hole cutter bore on a drill to remove some of the base so that the drain fitting (in grey) can tuck up into the base enough to screw on securely. It's a piece that should be custom made instead of just a stock pipe fitting.

This worked perfectly for me!
