I have ants in my kitchen (but I don't have food out or anything). Is it safe to put this in a tiny laundry room that is inside a closet in kitchen?

I have one under my kitchen sink with the cabinet doors closed, and it's working fine. I think it would be safe to put in your laundry room closet.
