Two CD deluxe edition. 2018 release, the first new album in five years from the British electronic outfit and one even fans wondered if they'd ever hear. Monsters Exist is a more classically structured Orbital album than their previous release Wonky, drawing inspiration from the international political landscape all the way back from Paul and Phil's pre-rave squat-punk roots right up to the volatile tensions and erratic rhetoric of today. Orbital consists of brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll. The band's name is taken from Greater London's orbital motorway, the M25, which was central to the early rave scene and party network in the South East during the early days of acid house. Review: All New Material-"Orbital" is back! - After seeing "Orbital" live in Brooklyn promoting this album I knew I had to purchase "Monsters Exist"! Since "Orbital's" last album:"Wonky" they've had time to brainstorm in the studio and come up with some original and creative music while retaining their trademark sound! 2-CD release with 17 tracks total. CD one contains the main tunes that are all danceable in a club setting! "Hoo Hoo Ha Ha" is a great up tempo sampled trumpet piece that always puts a smile on my face!! "The End is Nigh" also enjoyable to listen to with that distinct "Orbital" sound with an eerie female sampled voice. "PHUK"(Please Help the United Kingdom). A political piece depicting economic turmoil and uncertainity in the UK. CD two was equally satisfying with content scavenged from Paul Hartnoll's prior incomplete projects. " Haiku" is a tribute to the Japanese genre of the "Godzilla" movies and their monsters! I loved the female samples that added a memorable note of Japanese citizens running in panic due to a monster attack! The album plays with your imagination which to me is a win for "Orbital". Overall, I can't wait to see what they come up with next! Review: Great album - Orbital is a great Electronic band. This album is a fun listen. The vinyl version sounds great.

Truly, a great album.
My new, favorite song is "Tiny Foldable Cities." Ever since I got this album, I have listened to it at least once a day. Tracks like "Monsters Exist," "P.H.U.K.," "There Will Come a Time," and, my favorite, "Tiny Foldable Cities," all have depth and nuance that were lacking in the earlier work by Orbital. This album shows maturity and mastery of the music that really shines. Buy this record!

Fantastic Album
I love all the Orbital albums but this one really knocks it out of the park. Each song is brilliant in its own right but an amazing cd all around. Not only great use of sound and technologies but really some emotional moments that make the whole experience a must. 2 cd is highly recommended both sound wonderful on B&W speakers. Thanks boys.

Brilliant new album!
A new favorite by Orbital! Tiny Foldable Cities is amazing, and probably my favorite track. But every song has a new level of depth to it, demonstrating Orbital’s evolution in sound.

3CD pack is nice, but….
It’s good to have them back. But I feel like they tried a little too hard for this one, trying to throw the kitchen sink at it, as it were. Some of it is overdone and lacks punch due to too much stuff going on. Of course, I’m always looking to hear classic stadium rocking anthems and punchy jams, so I’m a bit too wishful myself, but you know what I’m saying. It’s not bad but it’s not their best, but it’s been a long time so it is what it is. I do like that they gave us a lot in the 3CD package.

Very dark Orbital.

A long time Orbital fan. Right from the get go, I was there. I always hoped that Orbital would, well - resume orbit! Anyway, Monsters Exist. I've got to admit, I did struggle with it as well at first. But, I've let it maintain orbit in my CD player for a number of cycles now. The boys excellence in their field is now shining through. I've got the deluxe album and I really love the tracks on CD2 as well. For all of those people that are struggling with it - let is spin and spin baby! It will become good and make sense in your mind eventually. An excellent release, I prefer this compared to Wonky. Insides is one of my all time favourite albums. Insides got me through one of the toughest times in my life. So I will always be an Orbital fan. An excellent release boys - looking forward to the next one!
