I’m constantly losing my seam-rippers, or occasionally breaking the tips off of them so that they’re useless. Buying 12 of them at once was not only a money-saver, but also ensures that I won’t have far to go to find one, no matter how many times I leave one in a random place. It should take me several years to lose all 12 of them. Their quality is typical of decent seam-rippers. The handles are durable and large enough to grip easily. The blade notches cut precisely, and stay sharp for a long time. The points are stronger than smaller seam rippers, and I don’t usually break this kind until I do something that’s obviously not a good idea, like trying to pry into heavy cloth. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

I bought these for sewing kits I am putting together for a child beginner sewing class. The price was right and the size is nice for my 9 and 10 year olds. They are sharp enough to do what we will need to in the class. I will buy them again for my next class.

For me these are nearly disposable items, that said they are as well made as any of the budget versions I've used. I use them to cut tape and loom off wiring harnesses.
