Bought this book to teach my children how to play piano. Fantastic selection of songs and very easy 5-finger piano for the right hand. Every note is labeled, most of the songs are in the key of C (no sharps or flats) and the tempos are fun and easy. The book also lists matching major chords and shows the fingering for the left hand above the staff, so once you learn the right hand, you can play the base clef with chords. At first, I played this for the kids (not necessary but fun), and soon they learned the chords themselves. Proud day! And allows this book to go from early beginner to early intermediate. The songs aren't the full Disney songs, but are usually 1-2 pages long and let you play the bulk of the music with corresponding words (also included which is wonderful!). Our kids have enjoyed learning on this book, and even though I'm more advanced, the songs are fun and easy to play when I add in the left hand on my own. Overall - a really fun book to have for the piano. Will probably always be a regular staple in our piano books.

Fun book!

This book is used by my 5 year old daughter learning piano, she has been in lessons about 3 months. It is a good compliment to the other beginner books that her teacher gives her. The Disney songs are more melodic and can sing-along. If the kids like the movies it is extra motive to learn/practice using the books. The only reason why this is one star is the book teaches to play using right hand only - everything is written in treble clef. Yes this makes it easier to learn but I kind of want my kid to use her left hand as well. Yes there are chords available too for each song that the kid can use left hand to play but I don’t think chords is for beginners and this book is for beginners… so what gives? I guess the parent can play the chords part? Still, the book is good as supplement to core curriculum. Fun to play and easy to pick up. Just not suitable as primary book for learning- which probably is not what it was design for anyway.

Super easy us right! Chords for left land are there in easy tablature. Simple Melody notes are presented on the staff with the name of the note “in” the note. Very clever.

My grandson is 10 and recently started playing a small organ that belonged to my grandmother. He had been playing songs out of an old beginner piano book I had. He loves to be able to play some songs that he's familiar with. It's a great book for beginners. Not a struggle for him to play like some music books.

I chose this book for my kids who aged 9 & 10 who are just learning piano keyboarding for the first time. They love Disney and wanted to play some familiar tunes. This book has enough songs to keep them occupied for awhile. It has new-ish stuff, like Frozen, and older classics too. A great value compared to some other books with way fewer songs. This book has easy versions of songs, all in the key of C, with right hand melodies only. No left-hand notations are present, but chords are listed for those who want to play them along.

Very nice, easy learning book

Got this for my 8 year old granddaughter for xmas and she loves it. Is learning the songs in her piano lessons and finds them easy to and fun to learn

I've been using this book as an adult to learn to play as a super beginner. Most songs are easy enough to play and lots of popular Disney songs in it.

Die Songs sind wirklich für Anfänger perfekt geeignet. Bei jedem Song befinden sich die akkorde übersichtlich zu jedem Song. Bei den Liedern handelt es sich aber leider nur um den Refrain nicht das ganze lied das finde ich sehr schade.
