Perfect replacement at an excellent price
Nice tight fit on my 2000 BMW Z3. The original was dried out and cracked from the UV rays. Be sure to use a little dish washing soap to help force it in to the opening after digging out the old seal. Otherwise you will have somewhat difficult time getting this new seal in. But, the end result is a nice tight fit that won't let moisture into the trunk area.

Junk
This grommet was hard and not workable at all. It would not go in to the antenna hole and had no pliability to make it go. In trying to get it to work as it should it slit in half and is now totally useless. I wouldn't give them another penny of my money if they begged me to.

Great replacement
Used on two Z3's; a 2001 and a 2002. These work very well, but a hint to installation... Remove the antenna from under the trim in the trunk to allow the fender hole to be clear. Lube the seal and then start one side of it. Once started, it can be rotated which will let the seal settle into the groove all the way around. 5 minute fix. Good deal.

It works
Hard to install, but worth the effort (if you still have the original motorized antenna!)

Stiff plastic makes it difficult to install
I was installing this in a 1988 BMW 325i convertible. I would suggest getting the BMW OEM part for $20-$25 instead of this part. This part is made of relatively stiff plastic, which makes it much more difficult to install than the OEM part. I spent about an hour trying to cajole this part into place so that it correctly seated in the opening. Used dish soap and every tool I could think of and after about an hour I got the part in, but it would still not seat correctly. The next day the part had split down the side. I ordered the OEM part off eBay. Much more pliable. A little dish soap and five minutes of work and it was in. Time is money. Get the OEM part and save your time and frustration.

Perfect Fix For That Annoying Leak Into my e30 Trunk
The wheel well of my beloved convertible would turn into a swimming pool during heavy rains. Didn't hurt anything....but go tired of getting the water out. Tried all kinds of "fixes" Didn't even think there was a part here...mine was gone...so didn't know. Thank you . Thank you...Thank you

Junk
I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Like others said, it's more of a plastic than rubber. It had no give at all and cracked when trying to force it in. I would guess this thing works for about 10% of the people buying it.

Not full rubber material
This product works, but be careful when installing as this is more of a plastic rubber mix. Sharp pressure can leave dents in it. The interior hole is also larger than stock, so make sure the antenna has a big enough base.

Fits but it's very hard
Fits my e36 but was a challenge to install as it's not very flexible, more like plastic than rubber

Not worth it
The grommet is way to hard to install, struggled 30 mins to install, donโt buy it!! waist your money! If you do good luck it might crack just like my did with out tools!

Garbage, don't waste your time and money, OEM one is cheaper and fits
Garbage, bought 2 of them, tried to fit them in any way possible but no luck, tried to put it in hot water, tried to heat it, removed the antenna, no way, if you try harder they just split in half. Bought an original one from bmw for less money $18 and I installed it in 5 mins. So don't waste your time and money on this.
