Are they ansi approved?

ANSI and ASTM do not approve aftermarket Safety components. Their focus is on full Safety Footwear. The MetGUARDZ have been tested to and fully surpassed the performance criteria of ASTM for metatarsal protection.

How does it attach to the shoe or boot?

The bottom picture shows how they are attached. The bottom portion is laced on to the boot and top portion attaches through the laces

How does this attach to the shoe?

This particular version (SEN-600) is attached using the laces on your shoes. We have other versions available for shoes without laces.

Why don't you just sell one version of the product with both the lace option and the straps? it really does seem silly for you to sell two versions.

For those who require both, we recommend purchasing the SEN-600 with a pack of SEN-610's (the straps by themselves).
