I sugestivo you take it to a car alarm install place to have it professionally installed, since there is a missing part that will be needed to convert the 12volt signal from this device to the correct CAN-BUS message for Jeep/Dodge

make sure to lock vehicle with this when leaving

Im an avid mountain biker, and I bought this in Dec 2017 after realizing how expensive it would be to replace my new truck key if i lost it in the woods. Installed it during one of the 'warm' spells here on the east coast in Jan 2018 and all was well, i could safely lock my keys in the truck and not worry about loosing them. Fast forward to Nov 2018 (yup a whole 11 months) and the system stops working (fortunately in my driveway where the keys were just inside the house not 15 feet away). Further investigation leads me to water in the keypad shorting the 9/0 key as and not allowing any other buttons to be pressed (so much for waterproof). Hopefully this was a dud as i have ordered a replacement system to put in (plug and play at this point) because i have come to rely on the unit. My advice . . . make sure to lock the car with the keypad to decrease your chances of getting locked out by a waterlogged transmitter!

Really, no helpful instructions. Less than a schematic.

Really, no helpful instructions. Well beyond a DIY installation. Not wise to cut into electrical system of any recent vintage auto. Meaning anything since when? 1970! Probably this system, which seems good in principle, is only for experienced and professional installation.

Battery replacement every two weeks

I really love this product but it appears to develope a ground battery drain in the keypad making it necessary to change the battery all the time(pain in the butt)-yes i have tried top of the line lithium fresh batteries several times to no avail-i contacted Accelle about just being able to buy the keypad by itself but they would not do it -really to bad -its a great product-but to expensive to buy the whole system just to replace a faulty key pad
