Orbit 55015 Zinc Impact Sprinkler, Pack of 1

This is a great sprinkler. It's well made with plenty of adjustments. Some people complained about the sprinkler being too tight to turn. If it's too loose or too tight you can adjust the friction just above the base with a wrench. An all metal sprinkler for the money is fantastic. If you don't already have a spike to attach the sprinkler to they can be found for around four bucks which makes the unit very budget friendly. I'm impressed enough I just ordered a second one

Metal, cheap and cost effective. Throw depth is dependent on water pressure and head deflector angle. At 0% deflection the sprinkler will water the surrounding 6ft radius passively.. whether you want it to or not. In my video I have it mounted in a 4in riser and angled on a brick to water up a slope because this type of sprinkler has no elevation adjustment. Because it is a direct fire (not parabolic arc) it is able to spray below low hanging tree branches and other hard to reach places.

Very nice quality -- with ONE MAJOR PROBLEM. The little trigger to flip from one direction to another extends so far down that it will rub against your tripod. I had to bend mine with pliers to keep it from rubbing against the tripod. But other than than it works very well

The head is fine, but it didn't fit my Melnor tripod. Well, the head fit, but the "U" shaped part that is used to trigger the direction change was too long and was dragging.

STOPPED WORKING on the second day

I have always liked Orbit products, and they have always performed well for me. I needed to replace a couple old, leaky sprinkler heads and these were not only the best price, but also a great brand. Installation on to the existing bases I had was simple and took minutes or less. Right out of the package, they work perfectly and have great spray patterns and coverage. They have several adjustments you can make to change your pattern, distance, height and rotation. They look to be very well made.

these seem better operating than plastic sprinklers available locally ... note: Zinc ... not brass, not bronze

So they worked ok I could only put 2 inline every time I tried 3 it wouldn’t work that’s with 50psi and a 10 gallon per minute flow with a 3/4 inch water hose. Also one came broken initially it wouldn’t change direction. I would not recommend these. Have since bought different sprinkler heads.

Great price for a metal sprinkler head. I’ve used these before and there a great , long life unit. I run around 45 of these when I pump water onto my lawns and garden, so I think I know what I’m talking about.
