Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good

Good for the garden and outdoor space. Prevents water, flies, wasps from getting into the socket openings and switches. Good build quality. However the transparent cover gets discoloured very fast. Thus should have been made of some UV proof material.

Used it for outdoor (external walls of the building), so far very good. However, the real test is the durability, the test of time.

There are too many flaws, first it's written ip 55 means it's not water proof Second, there is no glass or solid surface, it's a cheap plastic, it will get damaged outside. Third - there is no cover for the plug, it keeps cover open, this is fatal flaw. If you are using the plug it's completely exposed

The product is decent, though switch quality is suspect, let’s see how long it lasts. But above all, it is highly overpriced. I got an anchore single peace surface box with one switch and one socket at ₹110/box. I used (2 of them) that along with a plastic tupperware box...that seems to do just as well and cost me ₹200 overall(with 2 boxes perhaps ₹300). I would say ₹250 is a fair price for this product and not ₹900
