To avoid being dazzled during install I tried to disable the LED using the jumpers. (4-5 to disable). LED still came on when triggered. I have 5 of these so it is not one faulty one. I left one for a very long time and it did seem to disable the LED eventually but I wanted it OFF when connecting the power leads which does not seem to be possible. I posted this as a question and a lot of helpful people told me what was in the instructions but that doesn't help when the instructions don't work - they didn't say they had tried it themselves! Marked down beacuse of this. I had to install with a powered system beacuse of being unable to fully power down due to SAB alarm bell sounding. Had to physically cover the LED so I could see what I was doing and not short out any connections. Actual device seems good and to works fine.

Well what can I say, fitted correctly, exact match to outgoing faulty model. Triggered the alarm when it was unset. Checked, rechecked and checked again. Refitted a whole house worth of these without issue. I am not paying £3 to return a faulty product, will bin and put down to poor product. I will be buying elsewhere for sure, if faulty at least I could walk into the shop to refund or replace and they were only £3 more than this company. Beware of the pay postage to return, not buying this product online again.
