Funny and Convenient
The broom sweeps good, looks really pretty, and has long convenient handle. A peculiar feature is that the bristles wobble like small springs when you take the thing off the floor. First you think it's weird and funny, but then you realize that it shakes off the dust and probably is carefully designed. The dustpan stands on the floor and has long handle, so you do not have to bend double to pick it up, which is indeed disadvantage if you want more exercise. :)

Best Broom Ever.
I know it's expensive for a broom set, but it is perfect for me. I have a bad back, and the dust pan that is attached keeps me from bending too much when I sweep. The broom is really good and picks up everything. I wish it were gray as it wouldn't show the dust as much, but the black looks nice and the dustpan hides the dust that accumulates in the broom. The way the dustpan supports the broom, you can literally leave it anywhere in the house. Very nice broom, and worth the money to me!

Great Broom, Looks Killer, but any color other than black
I love this broom, sweeping is just sweeping but believe me the broom makes a difference. I love the way this broom snaps the bristles as you pick it up from the floor, the dust stays on the floor and not in the bristles. Don't like the black too much, dust clings to this broom and dust pan making it look filthy, would buy another color if buying again but thats just an annoyance and my OCD showing.

Nothing escapes this broom
This broom is great. I was exceeding skeptical because of the price point but a friend recommended it so i decided to give it a try. We just got wood floors throughout the house so I needed something. This baby catches everything, the smallest bits of dust etc. The bristle part is very very flexible which is probably why it holds the dust, pet hair as well as it does. The handle is a great height and has a large hole for hanging which I recommend due to the softness/bendability of the bristles. I am very happy with it.

Not for the serious housekeeper. finish is a bit clingy.
This product is great for small tasks like spilled dry cereal or cleaning up a studio or efficiency apartment. Definitely not a heavy duty broom to be used outside or for a larger home. Its more of a perfect companion to any vacuum. Especially if you don’t own a hand held and the job is too small to fire up the upright. (obviously to use on non carpeted floors) … With that being said heres a more detailed account. I admit it! I bought this purely for the esthetic. If there was a sleeker more compact design out there I would have probably bought that one. This item seems like a concept that went straight to production without any testing or research. My apartment is small and its ok for what i need it. My only real disappointment with this product is the type of surface or finish on the plastic. Even after grooming my dog on the regular she still sheds so I try and keep up with the odd hairs here and there. What I noticed the first time I used this product was not only how dusty my apartment gets but also that dust clings to the broom and dust pan. So, after sweeping they both need to be cleaned which is kind of annoying and probably a deal breaker for anyone planning to use this to sweep a dusty apartment like mines. Also, I tried using the cheap paper towels I keep under the sink to clean it up but it only moved the dust around so I had to use Bounty instead. This broom set has expensive taste I guess. Also, it took a really long time to be delivered. It wasn’t a problem for me since I placed the order way before moving into my new place. So in conclusion, this is not a broom set a house keeper would appreciate. Yes, you will be paying mainly for the design… and I guess the name of the designer which I must say this is not his best work. Not terrible but not amazing either.

High and Low Search for Standing Dustpan
I looked and looked online for a standing dustpan. I care less about the broom because there are a million brooms out there but very very few dustpans that you don't have to lean down to the floor to use. Do most people really lean down to the floor over and over when they sweep? I just don't get it. And I didn't want one of those flopsy ones that the restaurants use that you have to push it to the floor to have the duspan work. I want it just to stay open. So, after suffering through a few cheap standing brooms that were terrible quality, I bit the bullet and bought this one. I find that it's serviceable, but not perfect. First of all, the broom seems unnecessarily heavy. It's thicker than most broom handles, because it's trying to be ergonomic or whatever, but I often use the broom with one hand when I have the dustpan in the other hand, so adding extra heft to it is unnecessary. I can get over that though, I haul two toddlers around daily, and have buff enough arms. The other problem is that the standing dustpan isn't very high. It only comes about 3" above my knee (and I'm fairly tall), so I have to bend over to use this dustpan, even if I don't have to bend down all the way to the floor. If they had made it 6" or more higher, it would be much more useful without being all awkward trying to bend over a few inches. As another reviewer noted, the material of the dustpan is very staticky and that makes it annoying too. All in all, it's better than anything else I've had, and I paid more than it's worth, so I'll keep it, but I'll grumble about it a bit, and if ever the perfect broom and dustpan come along, I'll throw this one to the curb too. For now, it'll suffice. By the way, my husband independently noted that the dustpan handle is not high enough, but even so he protests his love for it. He flat out refused to use the crappy ones we had before.

pretty decent
Saw this at my hair guy's place first. I seriously hate cleaning at this point. It's like all my gender issues and resentment at wasted decades of trying to be a good person only to find out I was having my life wasted with lies and manipulation all somehow turn Incredible Hulk-esque when I have to clean stuff now. I realize that's incredibly immature, I should be able to manage my emotions and not go all scary just because I'm touching a cleaning tool. But what REALLY brings the rage is when many cleaning tools actually seem like they're designed as crappily as possible, to make you spend a ridiculous amount of time actually having to get on your hands and knees. And up. And back down again. And up. And back down again, getting a surprise shard of gritty kitty cat litter jammed into the palm of your hand, or your patella (knee thing), or your stupid hair falling out of the knot you tied it in, and falling directly in the pile of gross whatever it is you're cleaning up. Seriously? Frell that! (Insert word of choice, no clue re amazon's list of bad words, but anything I'm likely to yell in that situation is probably on that list) Anyhow, that's a lot of babble to say that this is pretty decent and well designed so you're NOT having to go search for the stupid missing dustpan (that someone always uses and doesn't bother putting back, and you find all three the next time you move) and then kneel/crouch/squat/whatever your knees and back might allow. You can actually stand up like a real human, not have to crawl around the floor hating everything and suddenly having parts of that Tom Waits song where he just burns the house down make perfect logical sense to you. I'm 5'10.5"-but-i-slouch, and I do wish the handle of the dustpan thing was 4-6" taller ideally, but it's balanced decently, so you can sweep stuff into it without having to hold onto it, and the broom is good so far (only had it a few weeks). And it's so much less aggravating to use than the stupid tiny handled dustpans, that I actually clean up spilled stuff more rapidly, knowing I won't be subject to sudden rage bursts at bad products, wasted years in a relationship, all guys ever, our current culture, and sadistic product designers. That definitely made it worth the extra money for me. =P

Great buy
I purchased this set for the horse stables. My last Casabella upright sweep set that I got like seven years ago did the job, but was smaller and finer and had its downsides. But I didn't appreciate how handy it was, till it was broken last week and now I was using a shovel or short dust pan and a selection of lame brooms to clean up with. I hate to sweep. Sweeping is my least favorite chore and it quickly becomes torture when having to use awkward, heavy or inefficient tools to do it with. So I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and effortless it is to use the Onda broom and dust pan. The broom is light, with ergonomic hand holds and the bristles, while soft, are resilient, working all the sawdust and debris out of tight areas that other brooms didn't reach or weren't effective in. The dust pan is shaped like a tapered scoop and reaches mid thigh. It's easy to move, hold in place and meets the floor, so everything swept toward it ends up inside instead of underneath and stays inside while being carried. Good capacity too. It takes up a very small foot print, fits perfectly in the wasted space between the wall and garbage can AND it's stable. Doesn't fall over once stored. No sudden movement. No precariously stacked pile of shovel, dust pan and several brooms shifting the garbage can and hitting the floor in and ungodly clatter at any hour of the day. The horses are _really_ happy with the Onda broom and dustpan. I am too. Worth every penny.

Dustpan Arrived Damaged and Useless
I spent a ridiculous amount of money on this duo because I'm familiar with the designer and I wanted something that could live in my kitchen and not look hideous. When it arrived, the dustpan "lip" - which is a very soft rubber - was all bent and distorted. Hence, the dustpan lip doesn't actually sit flat on the floor, and you can't sweep the dust INTO it. Which is literally a dustpan's ONLY JOB! Very disappointed, but it's a large, unwieldy piece (as tall as I am, and I'm 5'2") and too difficult to pack up and return (Didn't come in actual "packaging," Amazon delivered it wrapped in a hodgepodge of box pieces all taped together). The pictures show how it arrived - I stepped on it to try and flatten it to use it. No luck, it pops back into its damaged shape. And it's clear from the pet hair on my floor that I really need it to work! Pretty bummed about this, to say the least.
