No regrets
It has gotten very difficult to buy an alarm clock/ CD player these day! I have a relaxing CD that I listen to every night to fall asleep and my last machine finally died after 20+ years. My expectations were low after reading all the reviews but this model seemed like the best option. I picked this one because of the reasonable price, the size, the flat top, easy buttons, and the ability to dim the clock light. Pros: I've been able to learn very quickly which buttons to press to play my CD by touch only (while half asleep) due to the different shapes and sizes. The sound quality is good/ decent, especially at the volume I listen to as I'm falling asleep ;) The unit has 2 USB ports that you can use to charge devices which I think is a neat feature, even if I don't use it. I have a rapid charger for my phone already set up by my bed and based on other reviews these ports charge at a normal/ slow rate. I had to change bedside tables and my new one is a lot smaller so I needed a unit that had a compact footprint. This machine is the perfect size and looks very sleek with clean lines. I think it looks very nice. Cons: the volume is not very sensitive, especially for sleep; level 3 is a little soft but 4 is blaring and level 7 is audible down stairs (it goes to 16). **very minor problem The clock light is too bright; it has 2 levels of intensity but even the low level is really bright for me so I angle my pillow to block the display. **very minor problem The unit felt lighter and less solid than my previous clock radio/ CD player which makes me worry that this one won't last very long. **I've used it now for almost a month with no problems so it's possible that this may not be an issue... Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it.

Good clock radio with cd player
The clock itself is a perfect size and looks good. The alarm is a little difficult to set and turn off

Great value
Pre-sets radio stations (FM only), and plays CDs, recharges my phone, large time readout and decent sound. Love that it keeps its own correct time and self-adjusts for Daylight Savings Time and back again. Also small enough not to take up my entire night stand but big enough controls with labels to make using it very easy.

At last! A CD/alarm clock/Radio - (UPS may be required)
First the PROS: -good sound -nice size for bedside -maintains accurate time (so far). (My previous device gained 2 minutes every 8 days). -PLL tuner -good SIZE digital display -good size SNOOZE, Volume, & Track-select buttons -dual alarm; wake to either buzzer, radio, or CD -USB ports (2) -dual speakers -battery back-up The CONS: -overly-complex controls. Once programmed, then performance is very good -the display is too bright - even on lowest setting (dimming range is very poor; only 2 choices and very annoying!) -preferred display color should be (from BEST to WORST): RED, AMBER, Orange, Green, yellow, blue, white. (The latter 3 colors should ALWAYS be avoided! - in both the numerical and the background displays). -no DEDICATED “on/off button” for the Radio & CD (at least I haven’t discovered it yet) -utilizes 2032 button battery which is difficult to replace; AA or AAA would be better. -no bass/treble adjustment (a minor fault) -annoying “loose wire” antenna; a rigid/telescoping antenna is preferred -no discernible setting/switch for DSL -would be helpful if the display showed not only the CURRENT TIME but also include the ALARM SET TIME (if activated). A RECOMMENDATION! I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE a CD/Radio/Alarm Clock which incorporates an ATOMIC CLOCK with DSL (Daylight Savings Time) on/off switch (for regions exempting DSL). Due to MARKET SCARCITY of a CD/Radio/Alarm clock product, I will be keeping the product though I have to “blind out” the display during sleeping hours (too bright & less-than-ideal color). UPDATE: I have “retired” the product from my bedside. It’s now located in my bathroom where I primarily use the CD or radio during the morning routine. The time is wrong again due to a power “flicker.” Hence I left it “as-is” resetting the radio station each time as that “memory” was also lost. -Finally discovered the “ON/OFF” switch; it’s a Press & HOLD (for 3 sec). (Otherwise I was cycling through the snooze timer). -The display is TOO BRIGHT and WRONG COLOR (green) during sleep hours, even on the lowest setting I could use it bedside if the color was RED or a dark AMBER, or the brightness could be adjusted lower. -It happened; power outages. The product failed to preserve the settings after the outages (I guesstimated about a 1-3 hour outage each time). Checked the spot battery (2032), and it was dead. I just replaced it from the previous outage a week earlier, and the same thing happened; dead battery. Due to the difficulty of replacing the battery, it just contributed to the cause of its retirement. Again, AA or AAA battery back-up would’ve been far better. As stated earlier, reprogramming the product is unduly complicated and tedious. FINAL SUMMARY: -CD quality is VERY GOOD -RADIO TUNER is EXCELLENT -TIME ACCURACY appears to be VERY GOOD -THE BATTERY BACKUP (pardon my French) DOWNRIGHT “SUCKS” losing ALL settings, rendering the ALARM CLOCK function as UNTRUSTWORTHY. RESULT: Lost one more star; now THREE STARS

Nice clock, not much else.
I mean, as an alarm clock, it works fine. The music sounds good and the radio is clear. I like the wire antenna for better FM reception than my last radio. It's missing a few useful features. The controls are not intuitive and difficult to use. The buttons are pretty small for something I'm trying to turn off when I've just woken up. The CD player has no "random" feature, and while it's programmable, the program only lasts until you switch to the radio, so my wife can't wake up to her favorite song which is number 7 on the CD. There's only one "music" option at a time, so my wife can't wake up to the CD and let me wake up to the radio. The radio / cd / aux button always cycles through all three, so I'm always going past the unused AUX option. Also, no AM radio, only FM. I suspect I'll only use it until I find something better, then it will just become a clock. Ok, wow... You can't view the alarm times, you can only set them... And if the alarm is off, viewing/setting it will turn it on (buzz). The manual implied that, if the alarm is set to "CD", and there's no CD in the player, then you might end up with a silent alarm. Same for "aux"? Not sure. And "time zones"? I'm sending this back.

Seems like a nice clock, radio, cd player
Bought this as a Christmas present for my grandson and I think he'll really like it. I went ahead and set the year, date and time. I preset the radio station he listens to. The instructions were well written, easy to follow. I don't know how well the cd player works because I didn't bother using it. So far I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it.

Difficult to use - poor instructions
The sound is fine but the ease of use is terrible. Resetting alarms, changing modes ass poorly arranged.

Sound is surprisingly good
Great little alarm clock / perfect to listen to (!old)CDs / recommend getting exhilarate cable to connect to iPhone or mp3 / I like to stream Sirius radio,Amazon music, Pandora/The stereo speakers have decent fidelity for this little alarm clock. Would definitely recommend this product at such a reasonable price.

Repeat Buy
I had already bought a white and blue version of this clock-cd-radio and she loved it so much, she wanted the one by her bedside replace with a black one of these. Thank fully one was available works beautifully only drawbacks are that the print on top to operate the buttons are rather small unless you have 20-20 vision and there are only two settings for the dimness bright and less bright (one more dimness setting especially for sleeping at night would have been better as lowest dim setting still lights the dark room - like moonlight flooding the bed room). Still deservers a five out of five as I haven't seen anything better out there.

Horrible Sound
I knew this wasn't going to be an amazing speaker just based on price. I just wanted something to wake me up but the sound is really bad. You also cannot control the volume when you set the alarm. I am a light sleeper and the volume it plays at is much too loud for me. It always shocked me awake. Might be beneficial if you are a heavy sleeper.

Retour de radio
J'ai retournée le produit car le radio ne possédait pas de sortie externe pour un set d'écouteurs.

Nice little cd alarm
It’s a little tricky to follow the instructions as the setup is not intuitive but we got it to work. Seem to need to play the cd before adding music selection to the alarm, otherwise it just buzzes rather than play the cd at alarm time. Besides all this, it is a good cd alarm with decent audio.

Very poor sound quality
Although I don't expect great sound quality from such a clock/radio, the sound quality from this one is quite below the norm. I returned the item.
