I purchased these specifically for traveling to Cancun Mexico. They worked great for getting through the airport. It didn’t take long for me to realize they were great for excursions with both land and water activities were taking place. One such excursion was to Ek Balam. I wore them because we were going swimming at a cenote afterwards, and I didn’t know you could climb the temple. When I found out I could, regardless of the shoes, I was going up the 95 foot high stairs! I expected the shoes to be torn up afterwards, but it would have been worth it. I was surprised when, not only did they hold up, they were super comfortable too. After all the walking and excursions they are still in great shape and I wear them everywhere. Pics were taken two weeks after returning from the trip. Highly recommend these shoes! I’m a size 11.5(US) and bought a size 12 based on reviews. I completely agree with the statements that they are “like wearing socks with shoe soles”!

While Hey Dude's seem to run short in general, that's an even bigger deal if, as with my feet, the second toe is the longest toe. Once I learned to buy a full size bigger, the rest worked out. Comfortable to wear, easy to slip on and off, lots of styles and colors so I could finding a look I like. I only wear these indoors (perfect shoe for me for that use) so I can't speak to how they wear outdoors. Did notice my feet felt a bit chilled while wearing these indoors (and next to sliding glass door) when outdoor temperature was barely above zero

Buy this brand, the original brand...not the knock off, my husband said these are THE MOST comfortable shoe he has EVER OWNED...he loved them so much I sat down and ordered another pair in a different color for him the day he received them. The only thing I would warn you about is there are a BUNCH of "knock off look-a-likes" out there so WATCH what brand you are looking at, don't be fooled...as everyone we have talked to who comments on his shoes says don't you love your...Hey Dude shoes or what! So people who know this brand swear by it, and we would suggest you try them too!

I was a bit skeptical that these were going to show up in new condition, since the price was better than most other places. But they came in, brand new, perfect condition. Fit as I expected, very comfy, tempted to order a second pair.
